Ariel has been fuming on X and Discord about how he disagrees with people using HM to make a living - for a few months anyway - so I am sure these reduced earning have something to do with a "fix" for his disappointments. I think his vision is that people map as they drive for the drives they do anyway, not to go out mapping. But anyway, I had a good few months and I have been mostly hodling the coins for almost 18-20 months now since I started with them and sold a bunch at 35 cents USD a while back.
That's ridiculous to me. It just sounds like he was jealous that other people were able to make great money and not just him. Like he really sounds like a piece of crap to me. So he thought people were making too much money on a project he made, and instead of being proud of something he made being able to help so many people, this evil a-hole instead decides to wreck the rewards at the risk of destroying his own project. !! I will buy your dashcam with no hiccups or issues - seriously. I could really use it to help bring hivemapper to my work's company fleet of 200+ vehicles. We're currently waiting on the first 12 as a pilot group to test and could really use your dashcam to help work out all kinks, issues, and mounting logistics to help make this project succeed, before the cams arrive.

I'm not looking to drive for someone or a fleet, but rather play around and figure out proper mount setups for the vehicles in the fleet I want to bring this too. I want to work out all the kinks to have a smooth and as painless as possible installation process when the cameras start coming in.
My payout for last week just kind of went away. Today I got a small portion of it. Maybe the rest will trickle in. I'm on the old boxy device and got my ROI pretty quickly so I'm not crying. Still believing in this project, just got to hodl the tokens right now. It may be weeks or even months before BTC takes off again and the price comes back.
The rewards are down and the price is down, think this will not stand or long anymore n this phase. GPS terrible and need to add outdoor GPS to get the cams working okay. I am in this project from January 2023 and did build the network together whit the first people. Hope for the best.
@@oscarmorand In short, too many regions were reaching high multipliers (2x, 3x); MIP14 makes it harder to achieve the multipliers, thus reducing rewards in the affected regions. My home region went from 3x to 1.5x, dropping my rewards (for that region) substantially. Your region may or may not be affected, check the explorer to find out (you would need to have known the prior multiplier). MIP14 is "PASSED" (no voting, they do want they want), and in effect.
