@@adrianprice533 The mirror scene has been there since the very start. One new scene (hide and seek) was added at the start of scarefest. Nothing new has been added for this year.

Hey ! There was no one else on the ride and it was towards the end of the day so maybe the staff weren't too fused or gave up the will to live haha. Also It wasn't hidden, i use a body sling with the camera attached so it was out in plain sight, i did have the LCD screen on it closed though so maybe they thought it was off.

I went on this today with a few of my friends and we all felt bad for the little girl (Emily Alton) because we read the plaque in the waiting area (little longer describing her life) and how her parents neglected her. I can see why she would be angry and hurt. Also she’s still acting like a kid wanting to play games and her dialogue isn’t that threatening it’s how we perceive it because of the environment but a neglected child whose raised herself may not know that her toys and friends are frightening to “normal” people. If you go to the Alton towers web page about her it says her best friend was a garden spider (we see a twisted version of it near the middle of the ride) thx for reading
Hey thanks for watching! The queue / back ground story is deffo over looked for this ride. Its full of hidden gems. We have been considering making a full video with much more detail in regards of the queue and the pre ride show. The story is fantastic which helps makes this to be the number 1 dark ride in the UK thus far. Thanks for sharing your experience of the ride !
It's actually historically Acurate children like emily in that time period were seen not heard especially if you came from a rich family also her parents were just evil especially her father calling her a wretched little creature I would of kicked his head in for that alone poor emily
This was filmed on a mirrorless camera. Using a lens with an F stop at 1.4 which lets in so much light. It makes the darkest places look alot brighter. I should of had the focus in manual as there are parts where it has a focus issue in the video but overall its pretty good. Could be better though - Thanks for watching !!
are there any dolls or anything that resembles a doll? I'm going to alton towers soon and I'm debating on going on this, however dolls are my biggest fear!

Its a decent ride, but I took my 6 year old niece on this, expecting it to be like Duel and she had nightmares! We're going to DLP soon and wondering if anyone here has been on Phantom Manor over there? If so, would you say its less intense than this? I'm hearing its spookier than haunted mansion in WDW, but I dont know if that makes it this level scary. She'll be a little bit older, but i dont want to make the same mistake again 😅.
@@clairelouise355 Hey thanks for watching!! I would say the Phantom Manor isn’t as bad as this. There’s a lot of jump scares on this ride whereas the Phantom Manor is more of a sit back and watch the party! I got stuck the dark for 45 mins on this today 😢 they turned the effects and that off as it was just deafening when you're stuck in a cart for that long
@@emmagoodwin967 oh wow that’s a unique experience for sure! Hope they gave you a fast pass for another ride ! That’s such a long time to be stuck on that ride !
@GK_Adventures they used to give out fast tracks as a way of apologising and that! We could hear the other ride cars that had halted by is too, was actually quite humorous amd we had a laugh, but I think 1 group had a young boy or girl with them, that got quote scared and cried a bit, as it's quite enclosed in there and when it's dark as well and it was so warm too, they still didn't give out passes or anything! The ride was closed all day after that funnily enough, but I guess it happens, I've wanna feel safe on a rid3 as I am a thrillseeker! But yer, what felt like 4 hours was only about 45 mins lol
