I swear for God that the change of Dustin's first picture from "Birthday 2005" to "Birthday 2010" is one of the creepiest things I have seen. This series should have more recognition, for real, and because of that, thanks for making this video :).
I swore it was the same picture, but something was just off. I had to go back, and compare them side by side. Really hope the series can get some more attention, and just continue on with it's great story.
First off, I'm so freaking happy this series is getting attention. It's so nice to see Slendy content in recent times. Also you made me jump out of my skin at 3:16 by mentioning Caughtnotsleeping, as a Butterfly. I hadn't seen people talk about it in years and it felt like a jumpscare in the best way.
There's a lot of world building in this series I really like. Been awhile since a Slender Series has managed to grab me the way this one has. The "your are my sunshine" to me feels like it has to be a call back to caughtnotsleeping. Like Idk if it is, but it'd be insanely coincidently if it wasn't
@@patratrick Definitely, also the use of backwards songs (which isn't really anything new to the Slenderverse but was used very often in CNS). I was extremely on edge the first time seeing these videos because it really does take you back to the hay day of Slenderman in the best ways. Gemini Home Entertainment was an outstanding series and there are really high hope for this series.
Thanks for checking out Morley Grove! It's a very underrated channel that provides a very interesting take on the Slenderman Mythos. Hopefully this series gets more attention now that you're covering it, seeing how the same happened with Bugbo and Lacey Games
Yeah when I connected the dots with the slender man I was like oooo this is interesting. Pretty decent series, that morley ghost video is nutty though.
Old ghost caught on tape videos and Marble Hornets were 2 things that scared the hell out of me when I was young, and this series captures the essence of both of them. Gemini will always be one of my favorite series ever, but Remy made me feel something primal with this one.
There's something that I love so much about horror videos that present themselves as videos that came out during the early era of RU-vid. It just scratches that particular itch that I didn't even that I had in regards towards Digital Horror.
What I really like about this series is that for once it's seems to be trying to approach the Slenderman from an even way subtler manner than even the OG (Marble Hornets, EverymanHybrid etc) did at the start, while also perfectly capturing that feel of "old school youtube" horror, without needing to jumpscare us at the end with exorcist images of course lmao. Here's hoping this one stays strong and doesn't also feel the need to get bogged down by melodrama and cult-y nonsense most Slender related media seems to always lean towards, which imo was one of the biggest reasons it lost whatever scare factor it had so fast. Thanks for always bringing up new stuff to the table dude!
The subtly of the series is what really makes me love it. If you're not paying attention you could walk away with almost any interpretation. I also left out the whole thing with the town seemingly logging in the late 60's. Possibly awaking this creature who was just hanging in the woods. Lots of interesting things to see, and theorize on all while not being insanely just right there in your face.
damn this is like a mix of old slenderman videos with those screamer subliminal messages videos, only but its "real" because its part of a larger story. great!
I've very hopefully for the future of this series. It has such a strong start, and with Remy at the helm I think it may become a classic. A lot of slender stories sadly ended up fizzingly out for me at the end.
Hope you don't mind if I point out a couple small things you missed because I'm very normal about this. The audio in Morley Ghost is actually audio from the 911 call in Morley Drive reversed and slowed down so you were on the right track saying they sounded similar. Specifically it's distorted audio of the 911 operator saying "Okay they're there right now?" and "Okay are you safe right now?" The "Help Me" later in the video is actually the audio playing forwards but it randomly cuts off. It's just "Okay, are you-" So that does provide pretty strong evidence towards the 911 call and the ghost child being Dustin. Also in Morley Drive just after the weird time skip and just before the video cuts again there's a brief flash of a tall figure with long tendrils standing out in the distance. It's really only noticeable if you slow it down to 0.25 speed and pause it. Also bonus something that I'm not sure if it's an editing mistake or what I'm not sure what to make of it but but in the birthday videos if you compare the two photos of Dustin in the park with the Morley Man behind him there's actually 2 figures behind him that disappear. When I discovered this series I picked through every little secret I could find I love it so much and I'm glad to see it get more recognition.
YES! THANK YOU FOR THIS! Morely Grove absolutely has grabbed me and just shook me like WATCH ME IM COOL, and it is, but I have no idea whats going on with it and theres some videos explaining it but not much, so THANK YOU
I'm glad to learn the series is still moving. There's not a lot of details yet, and a lot of things up in the air I tried my best to piece together a decent theory of what is going on. That ghost video is so good though, love me a good slenderstory.
@@patratrick honestly my favorite videos are the two Dustin videos, especially having them played 1 after the other. To have the child in the first one, then disappeared the second. I was watching those videos and at first I had no idea what was different, but then I looked in the comments and saw people mention that dustins gone and I looked back and im like “well damn he is” The old RU-vid and Bandicam logo really just seals it good for me, I adore old internet like that, reminds me when I was like 7 browsing RU-vid, especially those club penguin videos with the bandicam logos ( someone should do a horror series on that) The ghost face one is pretty good too but ngl I cant see the face LOL, maybe its my bad eyesight. Either way, its a really cool series and didn’t connect slender man until watching this, yes i really did miss Slenderman the entire time, i was just like oh whos the Morely man? *its slenderman ya dingus* Great video so glad you took me and another’s suggestion on it, glad to hear it’s still being worked on too!
i just discovered your channel and i'm so glad i did! i love hearing your commentary on these ARGs and just binged all your vids, can't wait for the next one :] keep it up!!
Honestly the way the morley man operates reminds me so much of the crooked man scp in the way that it just shows up and deforms its victims with basically no way to prevent it
The visual of whatever…. This is at 9:52 instead of Dustin freaks me the fuck out. I made the mistake of watching this series late at night and whenever I closed my eyes to go to sleep all I could see is whatever it is. Good job to the creator for making such an unsettling visual
hello id like to point out that it seams that the Morley man has been around since 1969 or eariler also this is just a theory but it seems that Dustins family could have lived on Morley Dr before moving and the ghost is Dustin who roams around the house where he went missing and asks people for help because hes trapped in Morley mans realm or something
This is definitely another idea I was bouncing around in my head. That Dustin is simply just stuck in this house of his, hence all the ghost stuff. Really interested in seeing how the other specters will appear.
I'm coming into this a bit late - but has anyone realized the Ghost Child looks shockingly like the Rake? Its just a crack theory but it makes me curious if the plot this time around is the children are being mutilated and turned into some recognizable characters, or something like that. Its just a wild theory but it was my first thought.
That theory is a little wild, but that would be so sick if that’s how the series played out. That would genuinely be such cool homage to all the older internet horror.
Its definitely a stretch but that image of the thing staring at us sent me. I genuinely wonder if he intends to touch on wider creepy pasta mythos or even the slenderverse content.
@@YourCorvus I mean I thought It reminded me of something too, and I just couldn’t place it. Regardless that’s an amazing idea for a series props for the theory
@@patratrick i know after hearing it I immediately checked your description and was pleasantly surprised to see you made it! Have listened to it a couple times already, it’s so good!
Hey great video, I really enjoy your videos. But I just wanted to say your looking a little unwell. Not ugly or anything just unwell. You might know that I just wanted to say in case you need to get that checked out. You might be low on something heath wise, Viteamin D or low in Iron. Not a big deal just thought I should say.
🤣🤣🤣 I appreciate the concern that’s very nice. It’s just a LUT filter I use after editing to add some depth to the green screen, and hide some blur lines. I went a little hard with the percentages in this video. I don’t look this sickly in real life I promise lol. 🤣
Morley Grove is very overrated in my opinion. It's very boring to watch. The story felt like nothing was going on. I even watched it twice thinking I missed something and I wasn't missing anything. This is the worst analog horror and I'm saying this as someone who thinks Gemini Home Entertainment is the best analog horror of all time. If Remy started out with this series. Nobody would bat an eye towards it. Feel free to disagree in the replies if you want.
I wasn't super sold on the series at first either tbh. The Morley ghost video really sold me though as I think that video is incredibly effective. The series as a whole however has a lot of things I like. The concept such as "the morley residents clearly logging, and perhaps forcing the morley man out" and somethings I'm not the biggest fan of as it moves a bit to slow at times (which isn't always a bad thing) If the series continues, I think there's a lot of room to make some really effective horror The world building is there, and I'm hopeful for the future of the series. Thanks for the comment :)
@@patratrick I agree that's there's allot of potential. If I were to pick the best episode from the series, it would be Morley Missing due to the horror aspects or it. But even then, it shares the same issues like the rest of the series. And you're welcome!
I noticed I wasn’t subbed since I’ve watched some of your videos. I was glad to see you take a look at this series because I have no idea what’s going on besides something like a slenderman is taking children and it removes the child completely from memories, videos and photo’s. and it’s very existence like some kind of god of destruction hakia type shit. 😂 A very creepy series imo and it doesn’t do anything cheap and it’s nothing but dread and it just lingers.
Definitely a lot more to see in the series as it moves forward. I just put together the very loose pieces the best I could, but like damn this series is so good already I love good subtle horror that just creeps on you.
I'm so happy to see new creepypasta Arg featuring Slenderman :D In my opinion, it's a great character that needs to be featured in new horror videos more. Especially in ones that don't include any jumpscares or loud noises, just plain creepiness and silence, the tense atmosphere throughout the whole video. Can't wait for new updates, please explore this new Arg further!
I think I heard that the reason the missing kids look the way they do is cause the creature know as the Morley Man took their souls. Also, the last uploaded video of the series is I think the point of view of the kid calling 911 in one of the videos.
Him slowly getting more, and more morphed as well as all the other children missing. His cry for help in the ghost video, as well him being able to dial for 911. I feel like the kids have to some what be aware of what is happening to them, which is terrifying. Really can't wait to see how the series tackles this topic moving foward.
The story reminds me of a creepypasta reading on RU-vid with the thumbnail being the russian sleep experiment creepy halloween decoration. It was called "The Sandman" it was SO sad. A mans child slowly starts disappearing. first his ear, then his nose, and i think then his mouth? eventually the child was gone and even his ROOM was gone. imagine losing your child and not even being physically able to go into their room again because it doesnt exist, and seemingly never has? and the worst part is, nobody knows what the guy is talking about. he suddenly comes face to face with this skittering creature running through his house. Its the Sandman. He reminds the main character of the thing he had forgotten: that he wished for a child, but eventually the wish would fade away and not even you will remember making the deal, it will feel and appear as though you had had your child since he was born. so the main character finally unferstands why his son disappeared. the sandman leaves him all alone. his girlfriend breaks up with him because of all of this unexplainable grief that he refuses to tell her about. he doesnt talk to people, and everyone around him says that he always seems like he is grieving very intense loss like the loss of a child, although he had never had a child. It was just so fucking SAD. I wish i could find it again :((((
