@@jquest43 Deception? That's nothing new with this show. For example, the botanist said that the oak leaf and small acorns were too old to be able to identify the species, yet the last remaining Canopy Oak Tree on Oak island was there around the year 2000 according to Bill Milstead, an investor of Oak Island Exploration Company. The tree is gone now but modern-day specimens from that last remaining oak tree could be readily analyzed. This "Entertainment" show withholds pertinent information and feeds the viewer much deception. I wish we had a modern-day Documentary on the Oak Island mystery and not this sensation-oriented Reality TV show. Sorry so Lengthy!

@@jquest43 I can't really comment on a comparison cuz its a completely DIFFERENT ROCK. The difference in the sand around the base could be explained by the movement of the probe, but the rock itself looks completely different with different scratches/markings. Good catch.

My favorite part is the narrator talking in the background all the time... I use his technique in my every day life now. “No toilet paper! In the spare bathroom! Could this be the missing piece of the puzzle on Oak Island!?” lol

There’s no more chocolate milk? In 1247 Sir Choco Latte discovered mixing cocoa beans with cows milk turned it brown creating the drink now referred to all over the globe as “chocolate milk”. Could this mean HE secretly created the drink as a secret code that leads to a treasure map that can only be found after you drank the last glass of it?

There's a HUGE treasure after all: It's the big money that this series has earned its production company and The History Channel. When we pay cable access fees to suffer through 55 minutes of commercials, to be rewarded with 5 minutes of actual program material (which is usually just one question after another) we realize where the treasure really is. It's the television rights and the millions upon millions of dollars this series has been earning.

That's exactly what i was thinking.A cellar.If you look the video you can see traces of barrels on the groud( 1/2 moon shape ) .They used to keep meats in barrels mixed with salt during that period.Vegetables to.MAYBE.

Is there any possibility that the flood tunnel could have been the original entrance to the money pit. This would give a reason for the tunnel system to be flooded all the time which seems to be what has occurred. When the treasuree was place in the money pit it would then be converted to a flood system. Just a thought , regards Mike

Could be, but then why have a coded message before hitting the flooded tunnel? Just to say, "Hey, you're almost there but you will need to invent a self contained under water breathing apparatus (SCUBA) before continuing"

Pirates knew that one day people would have the technology to snake a camera onto a long cable and lead it down the hole so they could watch it on a laptop computer while simultaneously recording this show for entertainment purposes. That's why they put that rock there.This show is so ridiculous.

they should have used a RC quarter to eight scale bulldozer or a truck with a plow attachment to move the soil outta the way! Looking forward to new season and hope they're going to excavate a 100 ft diameter by 200 ft deep mega hole in the money pit area and thoroughly excavate the swamp! I believe more important discoveries will be unearthed in the swamp and Smith's Cove!
