I absolutely love this show. And can’t stop watching. Just for the history in and of itself. I can’t believe I’m reading through all of these comments and they are all just junior comedians that are all just jelly that they don’t have money they could spend doing something that interests them. Keep it up guys. I really love the history.

I'm 63 and I read about Oak Island for the first time when I was 6. When this show came on I was really excited, lots of money, plenty of resources, and folks in charge that are really interested in the mystery. But after a few episodes I got tired of the endless buildups and the false drama over every little event. Just another reality show with lots of false drama. I was really disappointed and no longer followed it.

It would be so funny if they found the tunnel and finally got inside the hidden room ONLY to find a playstation 1 and a vhs tape of tommy lee and Pamela Anderson 🤯

Gary Drayton will find a small, unrecognizable old rusty piece of metal and say he is 99% certain it is a part of a lock that was commonly used on treasure chests sometime in the early 1700s.

It's very well possible that Samuel Ball could have found a treasure there if not "the treasure". I mean you don't move to an island a former slave and then suddenly become a wealthy person for no reason. And for the record, I have been a fan of this show for 7 years now and I hope they really do finally determine what exactly happened there centuries ago, but I don't know how much longer I can take these silly little cliffhangers. I mean yeah, I know it's a television show and ratings are what keeps the bills paid, but the cliffhangers are getting unbearable lol. And just in case any of the producers happen to read this comment, can you please stop looping old scenes from 2 or 3 seasons ago in each episode to stretch the episodes out? Give us a whole episode of new content. Those of us that have been paying attention since the beginning would appreciate it. Just saying.

the insane work been done on this island just says there will be many very important historical finds coming no one does all this for nothing. this whole island needs to be dug up inch by inch.

I stuck with this until season 4, but it was going nowhere, just like The Walking Dead.

This is nothing but a wild goose chase!.There is nothing in that hole except these men's ambition to find treasure!.But the treasure they are sure to make is these serials and the royalty they will get for broadcasting all over the world!.

How many one things do they have to find before it’s “the” one thing ?

I seen on Twitter, they finally revealed what they found at the bottom of the last bore hole. At the depth of 10,310 foot mark, they discovered a Wal-Mart sack.

Didn't Samuel Ball have a servant that he shared a secret with and swore him to secrecy? Could this be it? I'd bet my bottom dollar that's what happened there. If I was Rick I would be despondent about this find, it almost confirms that Samuel Ball found the treasure.

I heard from an insider that when they find the chapel vault and open it, they find the treasure is a clever metaphor teaching us all to be kind to our fellow man

The only thing stopping this show from continuing into next year is this blasted covid 19 pandemic. The brothers won't be working in America on their business, probably under some form of social distancing with health and safety gone berserk. Oak island has won again with it's bad luck and we were finally getting to the most interesting bits of the show.

HUH want to go eat something? End of episode.

You are on the right track the duke that they read about is who the map speaks of at the bottom it says they docked the boat in sept and the line is drawn to the island and then they went to the other island and then to the island of oaks the map was made after he left the island

This is why john alden landed in cape cod. Look at the symbolism on john Aldens coat of arms posted in the encyclopedia brittanica. He was my greeaaaat grandfather. Add that to his mysterious history and past and you'll understand the real reason we settled in plymouth instead of Virginia. Smack dab inbetween the vault and newport tower. I had dreams of templar betrayed by the church and fleeing long before I came across the blatent templar/mason symbolism on my ancestors coat of arms. History also talks of him being an abnormally large and physically strong person. I myself have 8 abdominal ripples, 3 tendons on my wrist when I make a fist and an extra muscle under my armpit by my lat on both sides. Also rember both john and john alden jr were tried at witch trials. I Believe that there is a great mystery to be solved about my ancestors. A storm would have pushed the mayflower south not north. Something bigger was going on. If anyone has more info or theories please share or contact. Alden was also a master at playing all sides and had a natural way to gain respect and leaderships. Years later my other ancestors helped push the revolution. Other relatives of mine include Orson Welles, Maralyn Monroe and the current crown princess of Greece.

Common man, It looks like a drain to me. If it was big enough to crawl through that would be different. This looks like he was draining water away from his house to me!

Calling in a septic line plumber to see where their tunnels go. It's a wonder they didn't call one earlier to find their flood tunnels. What I don't like is knowing that this info is at least 4 months old.

Did they explore the tunnel further and what was the outcome.

That is not an ancient tunnel, it is a tunnel dug by treasure hunters who came in the island.

first, an underground tunnel? are there above ground tunnels? second, people have been tunneling here for so long, i'm amazed the island hasn't collapsed into the sea.
