Weirdly Bray was the only other person there who alluded to the crucial relationship Edge & Orton once had, and it feels like he did that going offscript. Bray saying, "the Randy that [Edge] knew is dead" got no reaction from everyone else in the ring or on commentary even though the crowd popped. Feels like WWE don't want to draw too much attention to that period in their careers for some reason, even though both men had massive success together. It also bugs me no-one mentioned Dean has an enduring connection with Bray, and here they didn't interact at all (except Bray smiling proudly at Dean when he went off on A.J.). Their feud was passionate, went on for years and had a hand in breaking up the Shield and turning Dean...but, nbd? WWE forgets about character continuity & development once again, I guess.

If you watch the whole segment, Edge actually mentions that Randy was his partner in the Rated RKO. Pretty good reaction from the crowd.
