It's mania over seas they rarely get to see this so this what you'd expect

And the passion of the UK fans, hopefully be back for more big events coming

Agreed. It was such a great atmosphere and, it isn't quite done justice on TV. Just so I can relive some of the experience, I go watch fan camera footage of some stuff at CATC (like Edge's entrance) and, it's captured a lot better in those videos.

Tbh Metalingus is an absolute banger. Even if it wasn't an entrance song, it would still be in my playlist, but the fact that it is used as a legendary entrance theme for a Hall of Fame-Wrestler is the icing on the cake.

@Cesira yeah there’s two elements. One is that edge and Rey haven’t been here for a while and they’re the ones we mostly grew up watching. But also we sing at the football, the cricket and even the darts. Have a beer and sing songs through the whole thing is the general British sports crowd where as I think Americans generally just clap and cheer at goals and things.

Until Dominic turned on them plus a lot of people were expecting the fiend to show up in the main event so a lot of fans are calling it the worst ppv ever because of it I personally think it was the best ppv this year reaction wise

Cuz US crowds are kinda used to WWE live shows, not exactly something special! But UK only gets it like once or twice in a year, so it's more like a commodity! Great crowds, Yep but I think that's the main reason behind it.....

There’s also a whole lot more people there. And US crowds are often further away/mic’d up funny. But yeah Brits have a party atmosphere at any live event, football, darts, wrestling, it’s always a good crack.

I was at Wrestlrmania 21 too. Flew all the way from Sydney Australia. I shouted out "It's your time Edge!" during his entrance in the MITB match I was hoping to go next year it would of been 18 years and back in Hollywood with my son, but alas it is not meant to be....

Alter Bridge (the band that does Edge's theme song) can barely fill a 1000 spots club in their homeland of USA for a gig. But their last UK tour in November 2022, they literally sold out every show and filled the O2 arena to finish the tour. I would say most of the crowd already knew the song originally by the band, and then recognized it as Edge's theme song.

Regular WM, Arabian WM and Europe WM. I hope it becomes standard. Not that I like the Arabian one but WWE always builts it like a WM so better matches and big stadium is always better than a regular PPV with an regular arena. IMO they should remove Survivor Series as a 'big PPV' because it isn't no more like the old days, it's not scheduled in a big stadium either. And should be replaced to have these 3 big events + Royal Rumble + SummerSlam as the big events of the year.

I’d say European. They could do this in Germany and it would be just as cool. And I’m a Brit, grateful they come here. But they’d do well in Germany, Italy, Sweden.. it’d be the same. Gunther main eventing in Germany/Austria would be insane.

UK crowds in particular are always hot because they get them once a year at most for live events, and like once every five years (minimum) for a PPV/Premium Live Event. I'm assuming that at least part of why the WWE doesn't run more shows there is due to tax law, more than travel expenses. (Plus there's probably at least a few stars who have Visa issues due to legal troubles in their past.)
