The D.O.C. on Co-Writing Dr. Dre's 'The Chronic' & Paperwork Not Being Right

As DJ Vlad lists tracks off of Dr. Dre's legendary "The Chronic" album, The D.O.C. recalls contributing to some of the biggest hits on the multi-platinum selling album. During the interview, he talked about working on "Nothin' But A 'G' Thang" with Snoop Dogg telling DJ Vlad, "That was one of the first records that Snoop and I worked together on." He said, "It was me imparting-if you will-to him the formula, for lack of a better way." As The D.O.C. reminisced about working on most of the album, he admits further into the interview that his alcohol and drug habits may have been the reason behind his improper paperwork. "It's not about them, it's about me. I'm drinking everyday. I'm probably doing drugs everyday."
Watch the full interview above.

It's so refreshing to listen to a Blackman keeping it real in the true sense of the word. He made some mistakes as a young man (as we all do) but now that he's older and wiser, he's got a deep sense of clarity and perspective on past events. His recollection of every single individual's contribution to each track is so amazingly vivid. As BDK...one of my favourite rappers once said...nuff respect due!

Morgan Holliman critically didn’t work, but if you sit and say that album doesn’t bump then you are deaf.

Anyway, I love enjoying listening to all of D.O.C.'s albums especially No One Can Do It Better, but the Helter Skelter album really saved my life. The Deuce album really says it all from the bottom. Top 3 albums from D.O.C. are - 1. Helter Skelter 2. Deuce 3. No One Can Do It Better
