I don't fully agree with saying that the Daemon's of Chaos have a weak story in campaign, considering who the Daemon Prince is if you pay attention to the storyline, he's got a greater claim of it being 'his story' being told than any of the others really.

The story in the campaign is just fine, its the lore or RP while playing that might be hard since you're basically playing with a load of other factions toys!

I always felt like the daemon prince would either keep his name of Yuri or would call himself the god killer canonically; as while he hates kislev he also wants to be its ruler and do what ursun couldnt. I also feel like chaos undivided would be what he canonically goes for as he does not favor one god over the other and that maybe you could look at it sideways and say Kislev and Yuri dont appear in the end times because he was the chaos force that took them out off camera

I think the idea is that in the Realm of Chaos campaign you're indeed playing Yuri but you can pretend you're playing your own made up daemon prince in IE or MP. Also princes in lore tend to change names when they ascend.

God Killer in Russian (Which is what the Godspodar like Yuri essentially are) is Бог-Убийца (Pronounced Bog-Ubiytsa) or Bóg Zabójca in Polish

They seem super interesting, the customisable legendary lord. Best bits of all 4 chaos gods in your forces. I wonder if Archaon, Kholek and Sigvald will make an appearance??

Warriors of Chaos are a separate faction not yet playable in the game BUT they can take settlement so likely going to get some changes when they get added in Mortal Empires 2

@@adamt3693 I reckon he’ll stay warriors but be a slenaesh/warrior hybrid. I only say this as a while back CA said they wouldn’t be moving lords around from paid content. They may have changed their minds though.

I feel like Daniel is actually quite a good name for the DP since in Hebrew it means ‘God is my Judge’ I feel when playing him I’ll want to dedicate him primarily to Khorne and Tzeentch since that’s what his backstory ties into

@@christianloustau5046 I personally do not like Khorne because they are two agressive and melee focused for my liking. I like having a good front line with lots of range and artillery. That is why I love the Skaven

YES 👍 first faction is chaos undivided. Also, yeah i share your opinion, i was expecting something more unique for chaos undivided, they are supposed to be the strongest mortals in all the world, capable of going toe to toe with daemons and abominations...but still, an improvement over WOC

To anyone else newer to this series of games or feeling overwhelmed by the amount and speed of information here, playback at 0.75x speed sounds like a relaxed but still normal speed of speaking and I forgot several times that I had changed the speed until watching the animations go slower.

Anyone else think the anti-player bias in TW3 is insane this time round? I've been playing the Daemons of Chaos on Legendary and it's insane just how everyone and their mother spends all game invading my two provinces while ignoring the rest of the world. By about turn 90 I only two souls and it's impossible to expand with how low $ economy is and how slow replenishment is. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but is it me or does Daemons of Chaos on legendary just seem impossible??

when you take settlements in a province/region should you dedicate them all to a single chaos god or should you try to spilt it up evenly???

I like to split them evenly but if you want to rush to one dedication then you can grind just 1

I realize it would be a huge amount of work but given the changes to AI and the new factions in the game even in the Realms of Chaos campaign, would you ever consider remaking some of these or maybe a short series for those whose early game has been significantly impacted?

I certainly would appreciate more tips with those changes myself. With Valkia raising absolute hell in a Kislev playthrough in Realms of Chaos and Daemon Prince getting doubleteamed pretty hard by Vilitch and Festus. Recently started the game myself and Daemon Prince and Tzarina playthroughs have incredibly rough times around turn 20 because of those 3

I know this would be them making new content not based on Warhammer minis but I personally think it would be cool if there was a female version of the Daemon Prince for you to play with also.

I agree, they wouldn’t have to alter her appearance much at all either. It would have added extra customization. The Slannesh torso and other limbs do look more feminine than masculine however.

@@dominicchammas549 He is a Daemon Prince. Even more powerful than a exalted Greater Daemon. Think about 40k characters that turned Daemon Princes like Angron, Lorgar, Fulgrim. He is that power level plus more at full strength. As previously said it is just how you build him which will be your strenght to play on

Been reworked to make it harder to get since its so op. First 2 levels buff your reinforcement so they arrive faster and the enemy arrive slower. Final level gets you the usual LS

To me, the most important con is also the most important pro : they only have demons, wich means only monstruous infantry and monsters. No chaos humans, purely demonic armies.

"One of the strongest factions." Oooooh so they got nerfed. Cos right now even TWW2 Norsca is way stronger and easier than Daemons. It's basically the same campaign but without the minor bonuses and with even more useless buildings that do NOTHING compared to buildings of normal races. Also with utterly indefensible positions compared to even OLD TWW1 NORSCA Like everyone not a word about buildings... so another guy who has no idea what he is talking about and thinks a faction is just the LL and Lords... Dude... that's JUST ONE UNIT THAT YOU BARELY USE ON HIGHER DIFFICULTIES. You play with armies and buildings not some dinky dude that will act only once per 20 turns cos the AI still just hides in castles unmoving and waiting for cheap shots. The most important thing in a faction is how well they can defend what they own, unless they are one of the much much much cooler horde factions who everyone hates despte them being what everyone ACTUALLY wants to play...

Like 75% of this video will be completely useless once the game comes out. Focus on some more relevant content with staying power. Like which are the strong units? What are good campaign strategy ?? Like making money?? and ofcourse the general battle tip[s and tricks. I don`t give a frigging fuurggle about these LORDS and STATS and BUFFS since I can literally see that when I boot up the game. Hit me up with some early gameplay experience and use that
