for wiim ultra....... maybe a good price ratio power amp which would be around 2x wiim ultra price ......Sciit Vidar 100w to 8ohm , 200W to 4ohm

Joe, it depends on the pink noise signal from your receiver.. I think I've heard like -30db rms. You might be hitting 90-100+ when you get into music or whatever. You have to consider all these factors. So many variables relating to the receivers "track" and whatever music or movie it is and how it was mixed, It makes sense that the other guys are like "uhh, I just use my ears"
