Ripping bluray/4K not all that bad, the latter take longer but I have a dedicated PC for this - 4 flights of stairs upstairs (UGH @ 71 y.o.) but manageable and I can screen share w/ my laptop to check on progress. I tend to do them in bunches anyway. Right now just using Plex w/ Nvidia Shield but I am considering adding a Zidoo or R-Volution to the mix. Plex advantage is being able to remote in from any device.
Yes, we're learning. Learning that Erin is heavily biased towards Kef. That's why the glowing review. Even though they have underlying problems, he will always be a fan boy regardless of how crappy of a speaker they are.
@@joentell you mean subjectively. 😉 No measurement is objective unless you know with 1000% certainty there are no errors, feedback, interference within the measurement, and then you subjectivity analyze the data. Kef has always been less than stellar with group delay and step response. Q-line and R-Line that use dedicated bass drivers all exhibit a bass driver that lags behind in time. Then there's the EPDR on the Concerto. 💀
They’re an engineering focused design that follows scientific research on what people prefer (subjectively) and how those things are objectively defined. Besides, in this very video I recommended an ELAC speaker over KEF. So your take is invalid from the jump. Cheers!
