I don't think it ever occurred to me to make my weekly log and then put my daily log right behind it. I always kind of assumed it had to be on or the other.
I think that comes from what most people are using for their weekly log versus the weekly log taught in the bullet journal method 😊 the bullet journal method weekly log is a place to reflect on the week that was (left page) and set intentions for the week ahead (right page) so then the daily logs for that coming week get placed after that 😛
So is the daily log basically your to do list? Like as I'm sitting in a meeting and in my head I'm thinking about the things I need to do, I would just record them in my daily log? And then later migrate them? I know we can make it what we want but for whatever reason, I'm banging my head against the wall trying to figure it all out. Thanks!
It's kind of like a to do list, in that if you're only recording tasks that's certainly what it becomes! A daily log is like a first touch-point for any of the information you want to record. For a lot of us, that will be tasks (like a task list) but you can also record other things things events/happenings, notes, thoughts, etc. The way we differentiate between those pieces of information is with the bullet journal symbols (bullets) 😊
