"It doesn't have to be perfect, you can't set up a journal for the first time and have it be right for the rest of your year." Well said. I'm a classic overthinker and this is something I have to remind myself as well! I like the way you set up your daily pages! I think I'm going to utilize that and then tweak it as I move forward! So glad to find this video today!

Thanks for these suggestions! I have started putting my thoughts into hand written journal a few months ago, and it is indeed therapeutic. I was trying to figure out a way of organising thoughts that wouldn't be too complex and time consuming. Your journal idea provides a sustainable way to stick to the habit even in our fast paced life style.

Wow! This is exactly what I’ve been trying to figure out how to do. I esp. love seeing elements reflecting your faith and Scripture. Thank you for this video, showing your pages as examples, and inspiring me to follow your lead.

Good stuff. Thanks for the reminder that everything is "fluid" as I'm redesigning my productivity system. Like you, I'm returning to a hybrid analog-digital strategy.

Thank you for sharing this video. I've been doing bullet journaling for years and I was looking for a new idea to improve my method. Your daily log method inspired me. With your method, I could dump my thoughts/ideas on a daily basis but not for just tracking daily tasks. I feel like I could use and write my journal more freely!

I use a similar type journal but I think I have found the solution to your not being able to search your notebook by topic. I leave a line or two at the bottom of each page. When I am finished writing a page, even if I’m continuing the day on the next page, I will write in that blank space any topics that I think I might ever have a reason to look back on (ex:haircut- if got a hair cut that day) This allows me to quickly look through my journal for the topic I’m looking for. I also at the end of the week go toan index page at the back of my journal where I keep a list of those topics and the page numbers and add those topics that came up that week (I could dothis daily but I prefer once a week)

Great idea. I have done this with my digital version using tagging. I may be returning to a physical journal so your comment was helpful.

Thank you for the tips. I've always used Outlook and Teams to schedule work in a Corp. Now that I'm freelancing, I'm trying to incorporate a bullet journal with a digital planner because I plan best when physically writing, but I need to have a digital calendar accessible through my website for clients to schedule a meeting. 🤔🙇‍♀️

Thank you for this video. I follow your canal exactly for your notion videos. Bevor i was bullet journaling vor long time. Now I returned to the paper again as well. I’m doing a mix between journaling so text an some Mindmaps. I would be interested how you bring the journal an Notion together.

Hello! Bullet journaling is a journey, between testing, processing, thinking, findind ways to suit our own needs... you are totally right. I just wanted to tell you that you can even do something to find what you have writen in your notes in a simple manner: just make an "index notes page" at the end of your notebook, with the date and the subject covered. You will have a recap. Don't be afraid to write because of your handwriting, at the end of the day what is important is that writing is helping you, thoughts like that are useless, but it takes time to figure out, and I have to say that I like your handwriting. I find it cool, sharp and neat. You know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I do not use a time blocker because my routine is quite the same, but the way you do it on your page is really nice, and i would probably do one myself if my needs have to change one day. This is what i like about Bullet Journaling, you can always find a way to adapt it, it's versatile. Thank you for your time explaining and sharing this with us all. Loved the video! ✨🔥✨
