The common daisy an almost forgotten Edible & medicinal wildflower 🌼 The Daisy is so abundant we forget its even here it's 100% edible & rich in vitamin C, potassium, calcium & Magnesium. It's Latin name is bellis perenis If you translate that it means beautiful & lives forever. Originally known to us as days eye the two words merged with time creating the name daisy we all know today 😁 You can eat the daisy straight from the earth it can be used in salads, soups sandwiches anything you fancy. Daisy's nutritionally by weight contain almost as much vitamin c as a lemon!
The Daisy isn't just rich nutritionally but medicinally too & this humble little flower is also known as bone flower, bruisewort & wound wort because its great for healing & treating things like inflammation from broken bones & helping the skin heal from bumps & bruses . You can use daisy in replacement for arnaca (arnica is actually a type of daisy that grows in the Alps). You can use daisy to help sooth aches strains & pains in the same way.
The Daisy is the ultimate proof that's there's no such thing as a weed this little edible wildflower is actually a medicinal herb, its beautiful to the eye, healing & plays an important role in our natural world ✌️🌍🌼

Giant hog weed looks like overgrown wild carrot flowers resembling Queen Anne's Lace in king size that has sap that can burn the skin and make anyone blind or worse...then there is bind weed AKA wild morning glory that is worse than ivy at choking out other plants and even trees! Not all plants contain the word weed in their name but those that do...very much are!
