Such a great video! Thank you. I would only add: Those in power do not only amplify our perceptions. They very often manipulate and change them by releasing specific information, so that we can withdraw the only conclusions they want. They are the ones who create stereotypes, they are the ones who create fantasies which we believe they are our own) In many cases, they even create our feelings. There are only a few areas that they still cannot fully control, but most of it they do, and they have been doing that for centuries.
Yes, that's correct because since they understand how we perceive the world and also control most of the sources of information, they can influence how we perceive the world and then our feelings. The strategy of releasing specific information is very interesting. It can influence us to draw wrong conclusions about the situation and/or ourselves. But it can also be used to draw our attention somewhere else e.g. covering a huge scandal by making public other minor scandals.
