Despite the fact the dude survived, that video still left me feeling a bit weird, obviously it was some kind of stunt to prove the dangers of mud and quicksand, he probably acted desperate in the video but was in reality much more in control. But it still leaves me with this weird sickly feeling. After growing up using the internet, not much phases me anymore, but that video really was disturbing. But videos where people actually die, or, in this case, appear to die with no other information or context provided, like this, still turn my stomach.

I actually saw your video (the first one), and found it quite interesting. I live in a semi swampy area, the northern part of Louisiana, US. As I've been getting more and more adventurous, I felt I should research certain thing including quick sand. I found it especially interesting because it showed ground that looked extremely dry, it was even cracked! Why everyone is criticizing your decent display being caught off guard by quicksand, I don't know. If it's any consolation, thank you.

Philip get out! I was JUST last night watching this original video and I've been playing the sleep deprivation game this week. I got really confused when you released "the same video" in my feed and the original was around midway in my watch later list (~500/1200, mainly since last winter). Don't make a tired man question reality like that. Also the quicksand video was really exciting and I enjoyed it. I felt the excitement and a bit of the fear like as a kid when you just had to see and try out things that you knew were bad for you. Just had to dare how far you kids could go before something happens or someone chickens out and others sigh from relief when they don't have to go any further. Edtt: Also thank god you informed the man most likely having escaped from the mud, I felt kinda sick from seeing that and thinking it might've been his end. To think that people would comment "how boring, nobody even died" just beats me. It might be because personal experiences. There was this lake we went to swim in when I was a young teenager. The pier had air pockets under it because of the construction and we dove under it and out of there, but once I dove and missed the air pocket by a bit. Got a bit scared but managed to pop out. I never again played with that kind of stuff again, one time was enough. I guess this comment is a proof that the two of your videos touched a great bit in me.

I just hope those people know that enjoying gore means you're a literal psychopath, and that's not just saying it. The major tendency of a psychopath is enjoying the pain of others unless the content is strictly for the entertainment process. For example, if you enjoy a video where someone burns their mouth from peppers, or people trying to create content similar to how the team who made Jackass, then you are NOT a psychopath. However, if you enjoy a video of someone falling through mud and never coming back up, as well as quicksand, then you ARE a psychopath.
