My first Platoon Sergeant was one of the Rangers who took part in this operation. SFC Eidson, believe he was Sgt at the time and a team leader. He could still run circles around most of us younger guys and was basically a walking ranger handbook. Finest NCO I’ve ever had the privilege of serving under.

man, i would love to see something similar to the battle of mogadishu, with KC as the QRF and KOG as the main assault force.

Raiding an airfield just so your assault team can refuel and hit their target is a such a fuck you. I love it.

I’m a Iraq and Afghan war veteran. I was in Phantom Fury and Marjah Afghanistan. I love your videos and I want to play in the same games as you and Drew, FriendlyNikoli my other favorite players. I don’t know computers for gaming I use Xbox can you please give me some advice for what to get for myself to play and have no issues. I’m 100% disabled from my rough days at work so unfortunately I don’t have a endless $ supply. So if you can help me out with some guidance I really appreciate it. Final AAR...1) Outstanding coms and shooting 2) Some of the Operators dont understand cover and laser discipline!!! Lets get the Basics down pat! ...So we dont have to think about it...If basics is set in stone...then we can move on to better tactics...Remember If you have to think about "shoot, move, and communicate"...then its not down pat or set in stone in your mind...same with clearing a room or shooting your target! Come on this is our bread and butter!!!

Should tell everyone to get IR strobes mounted on their gear. Will make such a difference when spotting through drone sights :)

Excellent stuff. Gotta love a good airfield seizure. Also I won't lie, at first I had a small "Um actually... " issue with this about the camouflage (and honestly, a lot of the gear) y'all are using if this is supposed to be an accurate recreation of Operation Rhino back in 2001 (they didn't have ACUs at that time, wouldn't have been using MOD 1s and Mk18s, etc). But then I remembered a video Rimmy did about accuracy in fun-ops and about the importance of form over function (if you need a bolt action for your teams, don't sweat if you can't find the exactly correct model of Mosin you'd need, etc.).

I'm assuming yall have actual veterans running the aircraft. The radio chatter is extremely realistic, no, almost exactly realistic to those kinds of comms.

Rangers are raiders. Running full speed for the objective with the strength of pro football players. Firing accurately They don't carry enough ammo to sit behind cover and exchange fire with the enemy. They are much faster than this. Back in the 80's I watched them fly into Savannah on little birds, land, rescue a senator playing hostage and flew him out. Total time on the ground less than five minutes. pitch black night no lights. More impressive than watching a guy in a business suit land in a parachute, disconnect, walk up to a target, lift up a briefcase and fire a hidden 9mm sub gun from inside the case. Then walking off like a businessman. That wasn't the rangers though. I got more but now that I'm an old man I just like getting on here and watching the game sometimes. Trading war stories with other old men around a backyard fire pit is more my game these days. Rangers Lead the Way.

I believe that this is part of the mission that the movie 12 Strong is based off of. Correct me if I'm wrong.
