Off Whites X logo was stolen / plain lifted from Glasgow Airport in Scotland. Their are so many of these cases - some power some logos have is down to us more then anything we give some value and our echo chambers let us put that perceived value to them as well. Some are well designed but and others earn their notoriety but that’s a whole other discussion.

I actually prefer the "classic" Supreme logo. I have the SS20 New York Shop tee and I like how lowkey it is compared to the bogo

Barbara Kruger is definitely one of my fav artists. The Chicago Art Institute curated a Barbara Kruger exhibit and it was some of the coolest art I've seen.

One thing I think makes a good logo is if it's reflective of brand identity. That off white helvetica logo is nothing on it''s own but within the context of their product line and the stripped back vibe they go for its actually kinda hard. Chanel too; the word sounds fancy, the brand's stuff is fancy, the logo looks fancy af.

comme des garcon's play logo (the heart with eyes) was also stolen from a close friend of the designer, who pitched her the idea years before she released it. it wasnt until comme des garcons needed to make a line of streetwear that they decided to use the heart logo

When you study fonts back hundreds of years some creators of certain fonts would put so much study into how each letter looks that they would have it mirror the human body perfectly, a long with other geometric easter eggs. They were channeling god with their attention to detail in the words of the ancient type face designers
