Coach Rhule is building something special in Lincoln. If you look at how much they lost by and the turnovers, fix that and they'll have a great season. Same thing if you look at Colorado's losses and the number of sacks their OL gave up. Both Colorado and Nebraska are my dark horses of 2024. Their match up in week 2 in Lincoln is going to be epic.

I'm uncertain at this point for how we'd finjsh my high is we at least make the National Championship but I'm not even ready to go that far yet. I need to see how week 1 goes to get a better picture on what could happen Nebraska Lowest W-L record 7-6 [7-5 in reg season (Loses the bowl game barely) Expectation 9-3 Maybe not playoffs or a natty but atleast a bowl game win Highest 11-1 (Bowl Game win and a Playoff Birth end up losing a National Championship by a matter of seconds.) The reason I have us losing the Natty if we make that far is because I don't think we are fully ready yet there is still some things that may need tweaked but our team is certainly capable of winning a Natty

I am ok with people jumping on the the Huskers bandwagon of being better this year with a new QB but lets make sure we know the facts. Since 2017 the Huskers have gone 4-8, 4-8, 5-7, 3-5, 3-9, 4-8 and 5-7. There has been no evidence that the issues that some people have believed could be a curse have been fixed. Especially when in 2023 we had the defense to make a bowl game but could not win 1 of our last 4 games against mediocre competition. With our defense returners this year and a new QB at the helm this should be the year we finally make a bowl game again but we can't take anything for granted as Nebraska fans and we have to see our punters and kickers do well and our turnovers to dip exponentially. We will likely go 6-6 or 7-5 and that will be good enough in Rhule year 2.

As a lifelong Husker fan of 36 years, no...not drinking it this year. less than 6 wins, trust me.
