When one looks at the superhero film genre, Christopher Nolan's epic Batman trilogy is an unmissable staple. This is my tribute to it. Enjoy.
I'd also like to give a special thanks to two of my fellow online editors: Kees Van Dijkhuizen Jr. and Nick Bosworth. Both of whom gave me extremely helpful feedback on both the technical and storytelling side of things. This video wouldn't be what it is without you guys!

He does exist. Batman exists in everyone. Like Bruce said to Blake, 'Batman is just a symbol'. It's can't die. Bruce Wayne can die. Batman can die. But the symbol Batman stands for cannot die. It's immortal as long as there are good people who stand up to injustice.

That's what the fanboys don't get. They wanted an exaggerated story and detest Nolan's realistic vision... But the goal was to make a good film first and foremost - with Batman and his rogues in them!! This trilogy didn't pander to fanboys by recreating shot-for-shot comic arcs from the 80s and 90s. It took the lore and replicated why it worked and applied it to a world so grounded like us...

Even if Marvel or Snyder make a 100 movies in their fused universes, they will still have less content in them then these 10 minutes of the essence of Dark Knight. A truly perfect trilogy, and the best comic book movie series of all time.

Batman Begins Bruce leaned to conquer his fear and find the courage to face the bat. The Dark Knight Bruce had his morales and his intelligence tested. The Dark Knight Rises Bruce's courage, his conviction and everything he was and is is challenged and he fails. Only to learn from his mistake and fight against his superior: Bane.

The Dark Trilogy is truly a work of art, there's a certain quality to Nolan's films that's just beautiful. It showed us that you can take a Super Hero's story and make as beautiful as other classic films like the God Father, Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, just to name a few...

2016 and I'm still watching it, like 1000 times, but its epicness and awesomeness are still fresh, like the first time. Nolan's trilogy is something we audience need, but not the one we deserve. Super heroes movies nowadays are just purely entertaining, they never can do the job that this trilogy has done!

I teared up towards the end, The Dark Knight trilogy was a huge part of my pre-teen and teen years. I'm now 18 and watching your video sent all these memories rushing back into my head. This was beautifully made; when you dropped the sound of harvey on fire my jaw dropped. My jaw dropped a second time when the coin fell and Harvey screams "it's about what's fair!", I being a beginning video editor realize how difficult it is get things that smooth. So to you I say Bravo! And Thanks for helping me relive The Dark Knight Legend!

You must be around 23 now. I'm 20 and this movie trilogy has had such a profound impact on me and on my life- and for the better. I knew about it for a long time, but was only able to watch The Dark Knight in 2017 on a flight to Europe. I became a fan of Batman a bit before that after having seen clips- mostly from the animated series. I watched The Dark Knight around 3 times in the flights there and back. So much to learn and take away from all of it.

I especially loved how you used the "Because that's what needs to happen" monologue at the end of the whole thing. I never realized that it connected to the whole legend, not just Batman taking Dent's fall! Very clever!

That's why I like Batman so much more than Superman. Superman does good deeds partially to be accepted and honored. Batman however, Does what he does without expecting any gratitude. He knows he'll get hate, but He doesn't care as long as Justice is done.

This was beautiful. Watching this has been the only time the whirlwind of emotions that came to me in my cinema seat on 20th of July 2012 has been emulated. The devastation of the broken back, the 'fuck yeah' when he makes the climb, the gulp at detonation, and the 'FUCKING....YES!' at Bruce's cucumber face at the end. Kudos Mr Walden. Gotham City, 07.20.2012 - Never Forget The Batman.

They don't make comic book films like these anymore I just can't believe how incredible this series was, Nolan created a crime drama story about a dark legendary hero, this is how it would be like if batman catwoman & villains were real, I love Tim burtons Gothic fairytale batman films, Tim created a world where it's normal for people to fight crime in masks & costumes, his Gotham was New York gone bad in 100 years or the ghetto London England. For those people that don't know this trilogy gave the idea for the cw arrow series, other superhero/comic films will never beat this trilogy, these films & arrow season 1& 2 are like watching law & order in masks.

noo, the dark knight rises captures the essence of Bale's Batman. The moment Batman really comes back is when he escapes from the prison, the chant literally means, "rise!" The Dark Knight Rises and the symbolism of Batman's character lives on even if Wayne retires. Beautiful title that so well captures the meaning of the trilogy

This video streamlines the Dark Knight Trilogy into a digestible runthrough. You did a fantastic job abridging the entire trilogy, while keeping in the relevant themes, people, and music. I was cheering like I did when I saw all three in theaters. Bravo for a final cut that hones the best of storytelling and honors Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, Hans Zimmer, and Heath Ledger. the last dialogue edition it´s superb, gordon and batman´s conversation scene at the end of the dark knight it´s probably one of the best cinematographic experience I´ve ever had and watching with the very end of the legend was amazing. Thank you. Ever since I saw the first trailer to Rises, and it said, "The end to the Dark Knight Legend," I've always referred to it as The Dark Knight Legend, rather than Trilogy. I think it pays more respect to the story by calling it a Legend.

Not Really, when batman "dies" we all know he still alive. In the dark knight trilogy batman starts a normal life and makes it seem like batman died, in the arkham trilogy Bruce Wayne makes it look like he's dead so he can look over Gotham silently and also to protect the people closet to him. So he doesn't really die, but I do agree with a fact that it sucks both trilogies ended

The Dark Knight Rises is inspired by The Dark Knight Returns.And in Returns Batman fakes his own death and in Rises their is a high chance that he faked it like in the comics.And in Arkham Knight Batman did not die Alfred was next to him when he entered Wayne manor and Batman will never blow up Alfred.

The dark knight trilogy is a perfect legend movie of all time.Amazing movie,superb music,story and the acting level of all the characters specially chritan bale and heath ledger Wow.I watch it 100 time but everytime its gives me goosebums. LOVE YOU BATMAN😘

Batman Begins was so underrated probably my favorite of the three. I love how people see the film and say it's amazing than they two face it saying it was terrible.

OMG. I found it I lost this video along time ago and wasn't able to find it. I absolutely love this video! It sums up all three movies, the soul purpose on why batman is who he is.
