Batman Begins: "It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me." The Dark Knight: "Sometimes, truth isn't good enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded." The Dark Knight Rises: "A hero can be anyone, even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat on a young boy's shoulders to let him know that the world hadn't ended.”
@@mill3rTechShow nope. He may be an oscar winner but he quite embarrassed himself by acting cringy on set, sending dead mice and shit.. Not only that, his laugh was terrible, his interpretation of the character was typical mob boss at best, did not resonate Joker in the slightest. No sinister intensity, just.. clown. No depth. Like a caricature.
"Why Do We fall? So that We can learn to pick ourselves up." If life is treating you like shit, Remember this quote. A lot of people wont see this comment But i hope your Life Will be filled with Luck and Happy moments. Never let anyone drag you down, Keep your head up and keep on moving. Life is a lesson, Learn it.. Challenge yourself, You Will fail... But at some point You Will Complete that Quest, You Will learn to pick yourself up... You Will Rise...
Hey Andre! Thank you for this comment. I needed this. I have been lost ever since I graduated more than 3 years ago. Pandemic made things worse. I keep trying to stay consistent and work hard to achieve my goals but obstacles keep coming up. Your comment just made me realize that no matter what happens, I must not give up.
Ra’s Al Ghul: If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal, and they can’t stop you, then you become something else entirely... Bruce: Which is? Ra’s Al Ghul: A legend, Mr. Wayne.
@Akin Khoo ehhhhh...do you know why muslims invaded Península Ibérica? Se were not having problems with them by then. It was about money. It always hás to do with money. USA, USSR, .Britts, Portuguese, Spanish...when USA leaves the midle east musclims Will keep killing each other as they did back in time
@@EdgyBushMan Asia is really the only outlier to that rule since Japan, Korea and China have existed for as long as the Classical European Powers in one form or another.
@Akin Khoo You know jack shit about that Osama wanted the USA to leave middle east so he could spread with his organization sharia across whole middle east he hoped that 9/11 attack would make the USA withdraw from the middle east but it only caused the whole world rallying against him he was rich Saudi Arabian who got wealth from his family and his extreme devotion to Islam caused his downfall into radicalization. Next time before you start talking crap at the USA get your facts straight and yes the USA supported Afghanistan during Soviet occupation there just like when the soviets supported Vietcong during the Vietnam war.
*James Gordon:* Why is he running, Dad? *Commissioner Gordon:* Because we have to chase him. *James Gordon:* He didn't do anything wrong. *Commissioner Gordon:* Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero: He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector... a _Dark Knight._ - Excellent Medley of TDK btw, the best one from RU-vid actually ;) -
Because Christian Bale is the Batman Gotham deserves, but not the one the stupids followers of Affleck needs right now. So, we'll hunt him. Because they can take it. Because he's not their hero. He is a silent guardian, a watchful protector....the unique and only Dark Knight.
I prefer his and Shirley Walker’s over either of Zimmer’s Batman themes. Mostly because that’s just more my thing, plus the Tim Burton Batman owns that theme. This one owns this theme, if you put Elfman’s theme in the Nolan movies, it wouldn’t work.
A Hero could be anyone, even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulder to let him know that the world hadn't ended.~ BATMAN
"Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up" "Like you, I was forced to learn that there are those without decency who must be fought. Without hesitation, without pity." "It's not who I am underneath, but what I DO, that defines me." So many lessons to live by in Begins. Yes, even from the bad guys. Part of growing up is realizing that some of them are not all THAT wrong, lol.
Especially the line/s from Falcone to Bruce, when Bruce tries charging in to Falcone’s restaurant in The Narrows. “Now, you think that because your mommy and your daddy got shot, you know about the ugly side of life. But you don’t, you’ve never tasted desperate. You’re Bruce Wayne, the prince of Gotham. You’d have to go a thousand miles for someone who didn’t know your name. So don’t.. Don’t come down here with your anger.”
The perfection with which hans zimmer creates soundtrack is god level . Using the exact type of soundtrack for the perfect moment makes Nolan's picture standout. The inner relief these soundtrack gives is incomparable.
Guys, you're forgetting Jerry Goldsmith, Bernard Herrmann, and Miklos Rosza; and I don't think Zimmer or Williams would disagree with me. Maurice Jarre also gets at least an honorable mention for "Lawrence of Arabia."
"You don't fear death. You think this makes you strong? It makes you weak! How can you run faster than possible? Fight longer than possible, without the most powerful impulse of the spirit? The fear of death! "I do fear death. I fear dying in here, while my city burns. There's no-one there to save it." "Then make the climb!" "How?" "As the child did, without the rope. Then fear will find you again."
@@Hugo-cn9no (I know my name might make me out to look biased) but if i was to rank DKR against any of the MCU films there might only be like 2 or 3 movies i would say are better. but BB and DK are better than all other superhero movies (imo)
lets be honest guys this is the best and most serious version of batman from all the other movies. He is exactly the icon of how batman should be in every damn movie
4:05 Insert Jim Gordon's Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.
sofiyan ali I feel it’s overrated. Ledger was great but the movie is slow and dare I say boring at times. The last third is where it loses it for me. The handling of two face doesn’t quite work. It’s like they are putting too much story into one movie. I also find the dark knight too cold. Begins and Rises have more heart to them.
Everyone in the comment section appreciating Hans Zimmer for these masterpieces!!! But almost everyone forgot how massive were the contributions of James Newton Howard!!
I'm really skeptical of the new Batman with Robert Pattinson. Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, and Heath Ledger did a great job, and of course the music by Hans Zimmer adds to the greatness. I guess we'll see.
The "Decision" segment is one of the most beautifully balanced pieces of music I think I've ever heard. So perfectly reflected by Liam Neeson's voiceover in the film. It contrasts Ra's arrogance, his belief that he has created the ultimate tool, with the reality that Bruce has discovered his own resolve. The piece itself is so moving, calming, yet mentally empowering all at once. It is a brief, but unforgettable piece of cinematic mastery. Most recent film production crews should drop the sledgehammers and start taking notes!
