using the way of evolution and the theory: When A vari passes away in the cemetary, greedy spirits fuse with the loomians soul before it can escape, turning it into a dark horrible monster. The chain forms on the wendolans arm as a symbol of the greedy spirit breaking free. the spirits are smart enough to not prey on humans, but rip apart any loomian they can find alone.
A bit more accurate version(I’m still giving credit to you): When a Vari’s guard is down in a gaveyard, on the verge of death, A greed spirit comes to take its body before it wakes up. To make sure the body doesn’t kick the spirit out due to how small it is, and how powerful the spirit is, it changes its form to be used. Ancient Theory(again, still giving credit to you since this whole comment is because of you): A tribe member came out to investigate people killing their tribe. That one person was named Wendile. He died, and strangely, he died because of his own tribe. He made a deal with the executors killing their tribe as long as he got a payment. He failed though, and got buried in the graveyard, right under the Heiwa cemetery graveyard. Wendile wanted revenge for his death, and he got what he wanted. When a deer was on the brink of death, Wendile possessed the deer, and took over its body. His spirit was too strong for the deer, so it kicked him out, and the deer met an violent end, dying from a seizure due to his power. He did the same thing again, but used the rest of his spirit power to change the form. He no longer had control. But the new creature still kept to his wishes. The creature retrieved more people from town, and made them do the same. The creatures did an attack on the tribe, and after a long war, all of them were captured and were ordered to be executed.
Part two, since the last thing was genuinely too long: They were _chained up_ to pieces of enchanted wood that would not break. Their hands were cut off, and so were their legs, but the spirits left the bodies, so the tribe only executed the leftover Wendigo bodies. The spirits were angry, and promised they would get revenge. They soon possessed more things due to the strange angry spirit “tradition” but they took on a few different forms. One took on another Deer, another took a humans, and then shortly got brought back to the underworld to do its immense power, and Wendile, the last one....possessed a body of *A Loomian.* That one named itself something very familiar to us all. “Wendolen” It’s form was based off of how it was executed previously. Enchanted wood arms, and legs that would not break without a wizards wand(also known as the wand Shawchi holds), a furry mane, a chain that I took from the dead Wendigo body, and a Wendigo head. After planning another attack on the Tribe, the Wendigo died due to extreme fatigue of not getting its revenge. The Wendolen shortly killed all of the tribe, and told it to join them, and possess loomians. The spirits altogether made 666 spirits, known as the devils number. They attacked a village close by (year is 2010 for reference) called Heiwa Village. It greatly failed because of Akios and Ikazune’s power in battle. All of the Wendolens were then executed, but all the souls left before dying. The bodies of the Wendolen were buried in the same place, but was renamed as Heiwa cemetery. The spirits stayed there for a decade, waiting to ambush the humans. And they got a chance. One day, a Loomian roamed into their graveyard. That Loomian was Vari. Wendile, the new leader of the “Wendolen Tribe” took over the body. This was a perfect body, though it pulled up a struggle, due to the fact the Loomian was so weak. Wendile suggested waiting until they were knocked out. Wendile made a grave mistake though. That Vari was caught, therefore Wendile was at the Trainers command. The spirits called that day “Wendolen Day” when everyone gets to be selected to be sacrifices to possess Vari, and be a trainers Loomian for eternity. (Please like this story I spent 30 minutes on it.)
theory: since you can find animals like whispup in the cemetery, it could mean that the cemetery is for loomians. it is possible that a deceased cervolen can die and be buried in the cemetery, then its remains (bones) form into a skinny, scary wendolen, which explains its design. other origins of wendolen? probably just some black magic.
@foxy gamer פסחfor the bear, its a literal teddy bear that got abandoned and came to life with vengeance, for the ghost dog, we dont know much of its backstory
ok this is very interesting but what if instead of people turning into wendolen, wendolens are varis who were abused and used for peoples own needs and then chained up their varis cuz it makes sense, to make wendolen you gotta get your vari killed in the cemetary so what if before that wasnt a cemetary that was where people abused and chained their varis and now if they die there they evolve into wendolen cuz the shackles could be the chains that were used.
Theory cause why not: Going off evolution, I'm assuming that once Vari is knocked out in the cemetery, the greedy spirits from the graves awaken and posses the Vari, triggering a change in appearance as a reference to the spirit. They attempt freedom but the chain is a symbol that they are trapped for eternity.
I’ve known a lot of this, I’m currently actually reading a book for school that is about two boys in Alberta where they have to run from a Wendigo that is trying to hunt them down in a spiritual/mythical world. (Weird coincidence) The book is “the hill” if anyone wants to search it.
Yes! Thank you! Finally, I've seen somebody talk about this! Was so happy ever since I realized there was a Wendigo-based Loomian in the game, Like I battled the Rainbow Trainer and saw the Wendolen and my mind immediately thought: "Oh my god, is that a Wendigo?" AND WAS CORRECT! I mean, I knew I was correct. I dunno why but I've always absolutely adored the dark and the scary, the spooky, and creepy.. And Wendigo is 100% my favorite mythical creature from folklore. And I loved LL's take on the Wendigo-Inspired loomian too! So cute, would totally pet it even if it tore me to shreds
I think the theory would make more sense if Wendolen used to be a prisoner and the pain and trauma of prison caused it to transform, (Because extreme cold/hunger can make it transform) which is when it broke its chains and escaped
Right when the update came out i was wondering who else realized wendolen was a wendigo that escaped and ate its captors and surprisingly Im not the only one
I adore wendigos(totally normal y’all) so I was really happy when I got a wendolen Edit: if we get a ice type varilotion it should also resemble a wendigo since show is a big thing in the stories about wendigos
I don't know why but before this video and I still am very interested in the history and backstory of the wendigo, one of my favorite mythological creatures
Finally someone understands wendigo is a mythical forest dimon that inspired windolen. Wendigo is a creature that ate human flesh and could make a human turn into a carnival and could also make the same noices of loved ones to trick people to get closer.
For my theory, I think wendolen is fused with spirits explaining the fur, I mean think about it, its in the pagoda cemetery a cemetery full of SPIRIT type pokemon! When vari dies, maybe a spirit has the chance to fuse, possess vari and making it a completely different form and makes it pure spirit. The chains may indicate that the spirit is free and gets to live again. Maybe a dead revenine, whispup fuses with the vari to have the wendelen have its unique skull on its head.
I think the name wendolen fits it very well because the wendolen is just a ghoul spirit thing it's pretty much dead and also a wendigo looks similar to it except more wispy like I guess with the blue fur
@@quagsire1249 well i had no clue that this many people were clueless to what it was. I mean its wierd like all the people i play with irl knew it was a wendigo as well and knew what a wendigo is.
I am kinda like a wendigo but I have a cow skull. Also this explains SO much about wendolen Ill never look at wendolen the same ever again when I try to get it. Sense we have Vari now I think the antlers in the rally ranch house is from Cervolen.
Hey amazing vid! I thought of a new Vari evolution and it’s gonna be fire type. In order to evolve it you have to go to igneous hollow and get it burned. I mean like it’s gonna be super hot! And I thought you could design it.
I got Vari just by roaming around at Heiwa Cemetary, didn't know they were quite rare (1/100 chance to get them), and was just like Eevee with their multiple evolutions, nice :)
Vari theory is that Wendolen is a chained up part of Vari so that the impulses don’t show that’s where the chain comes from in my theory but being defeated in the cemetery where spiritual energy is highest Wendolen gets a rush of energy from Vari’s great desire to prove itself and not fail again this desire can be compared with a feeling of greed and hense that form and I’d say he isn’t that evil it’s kinda like how venom would act from the 2018 movie where he is good but does his good deeds in very violent and cannibalistic ways
wendolen irl: scary demon crazy wendigo thingy of doom wendigo in LL pvp: i have the lowest hp stat in the ENTIRE GAME and both my defenses are lower than 80
I guess there was one ancient time where The tribe chained up that horrible beast and then soon the creature broke free the tribe hunted for the creature every single day day after day night after night but no sign of Wendigo...
Actually Wendigos original looks were a 3 meter tall looking zombie with skinny bones almost looking out of the skin and could shapeshifter and posses people. The deer head got more popular in the 20th century
Lucky:Tbradm what do u have to say for your self Tbrad: wendigo??? i didnt even know that was a thing so coincidental unless im wendigo HEHEH 3 days later arementi brings out a video of lucky being missing for 3 days
Personally I think the shackles mean that something or someone was beaten and held captive, such as a POW. This would explain the conditions the person would be put under.
I have a theory about it. The Wendolen could be a dead Vari, since yknow. A small story, lol. A Vari dies in the cementry. Its body dissapears, and months or less time later it turns into a Wendigo-like creature, Wendolen. People could of noticed and chained it up, however, it could break free and run away freely. Still left with the chain on its arm. Just causing Chaos. The Wendolen could be a selfish Vari, who seeks revenge. As it got killed, in a cementry, (its evolution stage) it would obviously seek revenge. However, there is a lot more options to choose from! Something else could create the Wendolen.
Theory: So Wendolen evolves from dying, which doesn't make sense for now. But a human becomes a wendigo after his or her spirit is corrupted by greed or weakened by extreme conditions, such as hunger and cold. You can see skinny arms and a broken chain on one of it's arms, possibly because of hunger. You see, it might be because people used to capture and tie varies up, abuse, starve, and kill them so they could evolve them to Wendolen. You can also see the blue fire-like fur, but if you search up pictures, it's fur is either black or grey. But the wendolen has blue fur? In my option, I think the "fur" is not actually fur. Is a sign of the wendolen's feelings getting broken (By the firey design) and in the pictures, there's not a lot of fur. But on the wendolen, there's so much greed and feelings in it, and because is broken, it's chain will be aswell. Why? The chain being broken is probably a sign of freedom. Even though, the wendolen has been chained up it's WHOLE life. And so, The wendolen wants revenge, so it began eating it's trainers. That's all i have for now
