Sir, please also create video on opaque Phd admission processes present in premium institutes of India...I am a JRF Qualified candidate in Public Administration and want to pursue my Phd in Public Policy(taught in various iits and iims).I feel quite frustrated seeing these public policy schools under brand of iits and iim, how come don't work on their admission policy of PhD programmes, they have left very limited scope for rural state university post graduates through formalizing reference system
Ya that is a good idea. To the best of my knowledge interviews plays a key role in the PhD selection process in top Indian institutes. However, other issues such as the preceding college of the student, marks or CGPA, English language skills also play a role. Some faculty should typically be willing to take a student under his or her guidance for the selection committee to take them, in most cases.
