The Dark Side of Little Mix 

We need to clear things up because I'm getting a lot of Sh*t for this video.... look at the time stamps 1:52 - It says it right there: "POSSIBLE eating disorder/stress".... It was to make you think. I wasn't trying to make a conspiracy video or "give you the truth".... IT WAS TO MAKE YOU THINK. 2:45 - I said, "It's widely SPECULATED that Perrie was suffering from severe stress and/or an eating disorder." I didn't flat out say, "Yep, she had an eating disorder." No. I didn't say that. That'd make me look like an asshole. You could tell she was hurting and something made her skinny. Well, looking back now, I believe it was stress because 1D fans were sending her hate and death threats; she and the girls were also under pressure to re-write a WHOLE album and not get fired. SORRY I DIDN'T MAKE THAT CLEAR IN THE VIDEO. 4:18 - "It was ONCE REPORTED" I never said confirmed. I wasn't trying to make Jordan Kiffin look like an assh*ole. I doubt it's true; I only mentioned it because it had been floating around the fandom for a while despite the lack of evidence. So I apologize. 5:29 - "DEPRESSION" - Okay, maybe I went overboard with this one but if you read about Perrie's breakup in "Our World" you can tell how devastated she is by the way she writes and narrates. Maybe I should've put "possible" or "speculated".... Again, I'M SORRY. Please stop sending me hate... I've learned from my mistakes :(

Jesy's story is so sad.

Zayn left because he needed space and wasn't comfortable in a group since 2010 (when they were created) he said he just tried and gave it a go. So Perrie is deffinetly not the reason why he quit 1D.

I'm watching this the day when Jesy finally leave Little Mix. I'm so proud of my girls and I wish Jesy could be happy and healthy, with the people who love she and enjoying her life without any pressure from to be a celebrity and receive a lot of bad comments about the way that she looks. Also, I'm so thankful with the girls for teach me that I have to love myself and be brave, but at the same time be kind and polite with people. I love you girls and thank you for everything, I can't express how much I'm grateful with you ❤️.

This is one band I want never to break up. I love these girls with a passion, they've helped me with so much. Break ups, my grandma being diagnosed with spinal cancer, just all of it. Listening to their songs helped me get through it all. Thanks you girls for everything, I love you, please never change!

I can now understand why they are all so close! They have such great chemistry together. Its because of all they been through and good for them , that they have each other. True and real friends are hard to come by these days!

Jesy has also said she suffered with alopecia (hair loss due to stress) because of bullying. I love how the girls are open with us and aren't perfect, it really helps us relate to them. Great video !

I'm not a fan of little mix but I like all of their songs and I cried watching this.

Little Mix has, by far, one of the darkest backgrounds I've ever encountered upon for a celebrity. It's honestly amazing they overcame these major obstacles in life. Truly a quartet of angels.

I didn't know at all about Jesy's father I knew she grew up without him but I thought it was just because of the divorce and I never realized for Perrie I knew that the break up with Zayn broke her heart but I didn't know that she had stress, eating and depression issues

i can't imagine how powerful they are 😭 - they are real queens,instead of letting people see their dark sides they still manage to empower people.They still manage to make everyone happy,they deserve love,respect and support.We,mixers don't deserve Little Mix 😭.

Wow! This is heartbreaking to watch! All of these girls are so talented and dont deserve to be treated like this. They all shine like gleaming stars and theyve come so far together! They never give up and they shoe so much passion when they sing! Its devastating that everything theyve gone through and they still manage to keep their chin up and keep smiling. Music is scary

Hey! Just wanted to point that out, that in the Glory Days album the song 'Nobody Like You' and it's lyrics sound a lot like a abusive relationship. For example: 'All you left me with was scars', 'We won't admit we've taken it too far' and many more.

I'm a recent fan of Little Mix and knowing all this stuff just makes me love them more and more. So proud of them...

ALRIGHT LISTEN UP! Some of you have commented or messaged me saying that I shouldn't have included Perrie's stuff in this video. "Depression is serious, you shouldn't just throw it out there based on speculation." I took it seriously! THIS WASN'T FOR VIEWS. It was to spread awareness. She didn't go deep into detail about it in "Our World," but you could tell that Zerrie was toxic enough to make her suffer-- physically and mentally (as well as the fact that they had to re-write the whole Get Weird album and avoid being fired-- she & the girls had so much pressure going on). She receives hate daily, even after Zerrie. That can cause some deep emotional wounds and scars-- maybe it's not depression but I felt the need to speak up about it because you never know.... I'm not trying to make this about me but I've been through similar sh*t (MANY OF US HAVE) and I can relate (no I'm not famous but I know what depression and hate feels like). WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT! IGNORANCE IS ALIVE. To know that someone you love and look up to can be going through something like stress or depression, etc. (maybe if it's not officially confirmed) could help you; YOU WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

ATTENTION: I never said Zerrie was abusive but some of you are confused. The lyrics to "Case Closed" are just a theory and I was just trying to make you THINK. The lyrics make sense about an abusive relationship but I was not trying to point towards a specific/public relationship that any of the girls had. I was suggesting that maybe one or more of them were in a very bad relationship BEFORE Little Mix....

How could somebody still hated them after all this pain and success they showed on us? They're really inspiring and can I just say that Littlemix are one of the best people I've ever seen. Woah , never knew these girls went through such a hard life i knew that jade suffered with anorexia but not perrie suffering with depression and all that stuff about jesy , and leigh . its so upsetting just to think about it and they come out everyday out of their house tying to hide the pain and ptu a smile on their face for us , paparazzi need to see this video as well cuz its just tight.

Honestly, this is so inspirational. I, myself, have went through depression, suicide, anorexia, hospitalized, rly bad bullying, kidnapped 5 times at the age of 9 and nearly raped, abused physically by my dad, and emotionally by mum... And more. i can't help but cry. But seeing Little Mix; they make me feel like i actually matter in the world.. they make me feel like they are my friends without them knowing.

honestly a lot of their songs point to an abusive relationship. The girls have been through so much hat we didn't really now about. it just shows that people can put on such a god mask to hide their feelings. The girls are so brave, and it just makes me love them even more. I absolutely adore the girls, now more than ever. Some of the things they've gone through like depression, stress, anorexia , abusive relationships i have gone through myself. They are my idols and queens. I love you girls.

I think press and reporters are the problem they follow them and every little thing they pick at and make a big deal about it....like when Perrie and Zayn split they kept asking her questions about it and I doubt that helped Perrie get over the break up....they are normal people they just need a break from reporters constantly following and sticking their big fat noses in their business

Also.... sorry if my video triggered you or seemed to have contained false information. 1) I double checked my sources and research. 2) Yes, it's true about what Jesy's father did but as far as I know (and have found) there are currently no updates on his arrest or trial. 3) The "Case Closed" part seemed to confuse a lot of people so I just want to make it clear: Apparently if you listen to the lyrics and think about it enough, the fan theory makes sense: it's about an abusive relationship (it could even be with a friend or family member, but the song makes it sound romantic to some people...) 4) Leigh's REPORTED fight with Jordan may or may not be true as there's no video or photo evidence but a very small group of fans claimed they saw an argument go down and Jordan reportedly shoved Leigh-Anne; and he briefly received hate/backlash on Twitter. Later that night a source close to the girls claimed that Leigh-Anne was crying in the bathroom of a club/restaurant and she APPARENTLY told Jade: "He ruined my evening." 5) I wasn't trying to say that Perrie had an eating disorder which is why I said POSSIBLE. Most likely her weight loss was due to stress and all of the hate she was received; let's also not forget that they were re-writing a whole album (aka "Get Weird") at the time and that also may have put her under a lot of pressure. I just started stanning them after watching Woman Like Me mv, and was binge watching all their previous live performance, then got here. I never knew that they went through hardships like these and made me fall inlove with them more. These girls deserve so much better.

You can't just assume someone has depression just because they're sad after a break up, that's what you are after a break up exhausted and sad/heartbroken and even celebrities sometimes show sadness. Depression and feeling depressed/sad isn't the same.
