Of course Otters are dangerous... Every animal with sharp teeth, especially carnivores, are dangerous. I hate when people don't get that. Seals are also extremely dangerous.
This is such a good idea! I worked in a national park, and people would often think they could approach wild animals as if they were pets. Please post more! The most common injury was chipmunk 🐿 bites!
Maybe you don't quite mean it this way so this might not really apply to you, but there's no virtue in hating your own species. People are people, some are horrible but I dare say the vast majority are wonderful, wringing your hands about the whole race in general isn't going to fix anything. We just need to teach people to think for themselves, care about finding the truth, try to encourage the good, discourage the bad and take responsibility for and learn from our mistakes, that's all we can do and that will be enough if the majority adopt that attitude. That's something that's really been bothering me over the past 30 years or some, how much self hatred has been preached by some ideologies as being some kind of great virtue and makes you better than everyone, in reality it's nothing but an attempt to make people so hopeless that they're easy to manipulate and will believe anyone that promises to save them from themselves. Sorry for the rant over what was really a very minor comment , but it's something that has really been disturbing me for a long time and it's getting worse, I especially hate how this mentality more and more is being pushed on children.
@@eavesDropSound really? i wonder how does that work? i feel like seals are just blubber to me with no strength or capabilities of grabbing something movinf
@@haycwon well maybe not exactly this breed of seal (I'm not sure) but if you look up sea lions and their assault on penguins you'll see things in full circle.
@@nashambenyisrael7689wrong, otters have been observed by biologists on multiple occasions killing and ripping apart minks with ease, they have even been known to eat minks now and then, with the remains of minks being found in their droppings. It's easy for the otters because they are a brave and ferocious animal that doesn't back down from a fight. Same goes for the mongoose, otters are multiple times the size of a mongoose and would easily win a fight against one.
Same for raccoons. I was attacked by one July 2020. Scratched, bruised, bitten. Drove myself to ER. One tetanus shot - 10 rabies shots. I howled and cried with each shot - soooooo painful. I’m 61 years old.
Literally half the comments section is quoting that one reference from The Owl House. “ This one says ‘Witch with the dark side.’ But this one says ‘I’m an otter! With the Darkside.’ ”
Absolutely. My dog was bitten by an otter last summer. She was defending her babies and we were walking, on the beach, on leash. She came out of nowhere. My dog wore a cone for 3 weeks. Lots of stitches in thigh. I was bitten by a seal many years ago snorkelling probably too close to a reef where there were babies.
It’s kinda funny because Hermione has a otter 🦦 patronus and they’re said to be playful and curious. I guess Hermione is kinda playful but she is full of curiosity for knowledge. But she has a strong personality and doesn’t let anyone step on her including her friends.
"We're looking at sea otters. Six of them." *visible happiness* ... *otters attacking people* "It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to the force... not leave it in darkness!"
I still love them. This documentary just showed me that cute things must be left alone. Just because one thing is cute it does not mean it's there for you to tease. Way to go otters! Poor seals. Lol.
This doesn’t mean you should hate otters. It’s our fault that we build on their land. Otters are just gonna be otters. How would you feel if otters started building dens in your yard? You would be threatened and mad too right?
I'm gonna punch the otters and if that doesnt work then I'll use a gun! Ain't no animal better than me! Once I punch everything into extinction I'm going after space
Even something as trivial as a squirrel could kill a human. Not right away of course, but they could bite and scratch you causing infection. The reason I say this is because regardless of your position in world you should always respect nature.
