In this crazy, fast-paced world we live in, hustle culture seems to be everywhere.
It’s all about non-stop productivity, constant busyness, and a never-ending drive for success.
Toxic productivity is on the rise.
I’m on that youtube grind as well, trying to pump out as much content as I can.
But I’ve noticed from my own experience that problems arise when you’re too focused on the future - when you believe that happiness will only come once you’ve achieved your big goal.
It feels like I always need to be productive to achieve the success that I’m after and it often takes the enjoyment out of other everyday activities.
We often forget that life is not just about reaching a particular destination.
It's about embracing the journey itself because, there actually is no finish line.

exactly. I am technically unenmployed since 1.5 years and even if i start to understand the goal of life after all this work, people always keep telling me that in life there is only work. So that's hard not to blame yourself for taking time outside when people are just working as if it was normal. Cool reminder, thanks.

Personally, time stopped for me after the start of the war. It's still 2022 for me. You work but nothing brings you joy. The only thing I regret now is that I did not live fully before the war and put everything off for later, thinking that everything will only get better with time. The uncertainty is killing me.

Hi... I'm assuming you're talking about the Russia - Ukraine war...if yes I totally feel you. I'm a student in Ukraine and it's been almost a year and a half of online classes and uncertainty...things get slightly hopeful only to disappoint that no war is still going on...but whatever happens I'm going there by August... hopefully idk man. Anyways I'll stop blabbering now, but it was a reminder that you're not alone....byi

Human brain is a interesting thing. When you want something, you can do whatever it takes to get that thing, and then you get it, it turns out that the way of getting it was far more better, than the thing you aquired. Of course not in every case, but most of them, yeah. Speaking from experience

Insane job man ! Writing, filming, it's so cool to find videos like this randomly on the internet. Along with your video about the 20's, the message is super accurate. Sometimes I feel like expectations and productivity are so overwhelming that I have troubles to even breathe normally. It is important to give yourself permission to step away from the hustle as you said because the moment during which you will have to do something else than hustling will come anyway. The worst part is finding yourself incapable of enjoying these moments because somewhere in your head your work is still here. Now I feel better thanks to you. Your videos are a great way for people to regain hope and share it around them, so thank you for that :)

Thank you so much for the kind words :)) Everything is made in the free version of DaVinci Resolve (Should start thinking about buying the full one though :D) Still in my early stages of editing, but might make a tutorial in the future, once I feel good and comfortable enough with the process!
