This video was created AFTER we did one more speed run video (180 mph) that will be posted on this channel in about a week or so. So we did not have this happen and then us go back out and do ANOTHER run on that same road. Just so you all are aware. I wanted to get this video out as soon as I could.
So you have this video, and then one more video with the GT car on that same road, and then there won't be any more videos going those kinds of speeds on a public road like that. The risks to others as well as my wife is too high for me to risk again. I never should have put her or anyone in harms way like that. I will do better.

Thank you for sharing that. I'm kind of paranoid about hitting people too, we run in large packs and its usually chaos. Hope your wife feels better

The definition of a freak accident. The chances of it beelining straight for her. That's like one time a friends wife was standing smoking a cigarette and a bee landed on her finger and stung her.

You couldn't have said it any better, I agree with you 110% Thought I knew better until I broke one toe and brusied a few others at barely over 40mph last week. I'm thankful I only hurt myself.

For one thing it was just the other day I was watching one of your videos and admiring your attention to safety. You’re always mentioning that in some way in your videos, always telling your wife where to stand etc. it really sucks that this still happened, like really sucks. I have on occasion brought my young daughter when I go out to run and she is always more than far enough away but there is still always this thing in the back of my mind…u can’t be too safe at all. This could have been worse. I wish u both the best.

Thank you so much. It’s definitely a learning experience. I’m just upset that my wife had to pay for that lesson. She is doing well now though and getting better each day. I will be a better husband and more cognizant of our safety measures.

Glad your wife wasn’t seriously injured. Great video showing the importance of safety. I was pretty complacent early on and felt I needed to ensure my safety as well as anyone that comes out with me.

Good on you for owning up to your mistakes. I never would have considered the safety risks of driving an rc car but sharing this makes it patently obvious. I'm a huge fan of safety culture, and the only way we can do better is by being transparent and honest, you nailed it dude. Tell Toni Seth says hi, and hope to see ya on the river sometime!

You are good husband and she deserves you. Im really sorry for what happened. In all your marriage life you are protecting her and I cant say you failed just because this happened. God wrote this for you, it may be to protect you from greater harm. It has happened and we are learning from our mistakes. It is possible that if you had not fallen into this situation, something else, worse than this situation, would have happened. Sorry if there are spelling errors. I wish you and your wife a happy and healthy life
