I was in the Berlin Hbf last week, and I didn't find my wallet, so I thought it was stolen. It wasn't...(I lost it) I reported it to the police and the next day they called me to say that they had found it. Even the pitiful little 5€ was in it. Germans ❤😂🎉
Because this is how the police in my country works (it doesn't), I called them 5 times through my lifetime, only 2 of 5 times they dispatched... So if by any chance you will travel here you can only count on you and you only
Lesson 1: Don't stay in hostels. If you can't even afford a cheap hotel, stay at home. Lesson 2: Yeah, take a TukTuk instead of walking in dodgy areas at night. Lesson 3: Don't bring any valuables or much cash, on rafting trips (or to massage parlors.)
I never heard that things are stolen from lockers or hostels. I got clothes stolen on the train and my friends got laptops stolen on the train. When you fell asleep, sleep on the luggage. I also slept in airports and I wrap around luggage like a cat. I don't want to say but I am always careful around Western tourists. What brings them out to a foreign country ? Where they get funds to travel so far? and if two Westerners have issues, police will not deal with it.
Ah sorry but thanks for the video, Radical. I guess it’s part of the cost of traveling. Not sure if using a credit card would help? Happy travels. We’re with you out there.
Speaking of Cambodia avoid this man Heng Santha (1981) from "Sun Design and Decor" (Battambang city). He stole our 100 dollars. If you want a link to the full story in the Omnilogy forum, let me know.
I was Homeless 4 years and the worst place is barcelona for "still having your stuff" and half of spain. If someone who is tourist it's not that tragedy like for who don't have adress and have problems with go work because of no home and must make money on the street for telefon. In Austria or germany it's not problem for making money on the street for telephone (if you don't addictet for drugs itd.), but in spain and italy it's very problematic.
@@rlshortsextras8835 thank you for your content btw! You gave me a bit of optimism and positive vibes while during air raid sirens, good luck and looking forward for new videos!!
It's weird, I've traveled to Lviv many times and stayed in hostels - not a single unpleasant incident, but the only time I was robbed was in Germany, in Chemnitz - and all my clothes (!!!) were stolen, crazy
Bro..That is your German innocence..Do you think only tourists or travelers use cheap hoetls?? Nooo...Homeless people and poor people use them too! and some professional criminals!
@@shahlabadel8628 Yes,their kindness and Innocence often gets taken advantage of. Their naivety is used to replace them in their own Country and will be the reason they disappear as a Country and Folk
agreed . this replacement and loss of culture is upsetting even through the eyes of a non- German but a deutchophile like me. Germans should wake up before it is too late!

Note to Germans from an AMerican who has lived in Germany since 2005: The world is a dangerous place..People are not nice and they don't follow the rules in other countries! 🤣
Wow that’s terrible. I was in Montreal a few years ago and someone stole my MacBook at Starbucks right before my presentation at a conference. I couldn’t believe it. I still don’t know how they did that. I literally had to buy a new laptop there. I’m more careful now for sure! And yes the cops couldn’t care less. Apple Store guy said I was the third victim that same day.
Yes it bad. I had stealing story too! They were more complicate! Many years ago where there werent smart phone or gps we went to Budapest to a Budapest Parádé. We booked a room in a hostel át Buda side. The party was qt the Heros square át Pest side. Party was great but át the end of the party i realized that my Budapest city map and my jumper were missing from my back bag.So how can we find the hotel to go to sleep? Ah. We couldnt dare to jump on any bus cause we dont know where do they go.So we had to walk from the Danube and watch the building and recognize where did we come! Was a long walk after a big party but finally we ve found it! Another story. I was living in a bigger city in a rent át east Hungary I left my half of the salary át home and we went to a club with the girls to dancing. I bőrét the party went home sooner then the other girls and when I arrived home I realized that my rent key I left inside with my phone too. I didnt want to take it to the party not to be stolen. So I knocked the door but the nee strange tenant didnt aswered. But they had home party with her drug friends. So I didnt have another choise if I didnt want to sleep in the starcase hall in a block of flats so I decided to take the first bus and go to another city to my parents house to sleep. Next day I realized my half salary was stolen from the rent i call up my friends we change down the lock and lock out the new tenant and give her 10 minutes to park her stuff and move away from the rent! Ah. And I had an argue át the police át the police station who brought me many excuse why they cant help me....
The next time you come to Mallorca, Mr Radical living, I can help you avoiding the most conflictive places so noone steals you. It's a serious offer... I love your videos btw
And buy a fanny pack that's safe for cutting through. Hide it underneath your pants and shirt. Put your passport and debet/credit cards and money in there. It will save you from a lot of hassle!
That's interesting and helpful! Maybe for the next video, talk about some of the unfriendliest countries. I've heard Croatia is the unfriendliest country in the world, they're mean to tourists and all... You'll probably gonna hesitate to like or comment since I've mentioned the name of the country but come on you're better than that!...
I've bene to Croatia a few time and nothing happened tò me. Unfortunately I have tò Say that Italy (my country....) Is much more Dangerous for tourists
@@alessandrof2421 I've heard Croatian are mean and rude not dangerous. Italian driving is almost as famous as the food! But I've seen people trying to add ketchup to their spaghetti and they saw some rude behavior in Italy.
