You are so right, the scars thing is very insensitive... The TQRS +S have never been about inclusivity but exclusivity.. They want to feel special they are the victims, you must address them in this manner otherwise u are some phobic... Terrible

Its also insulting to real trans people. The trans umbrella got so wide you no longer need to have gender dysphoria, oh and and also GD is no longer a mental illness apparently. This "inclusive" game also excludes a large part of the trans community.

Well, this is entirely illogical. I think it is safe to assume that anyone who must undergo such transformative surgery does NOT want scars to reflect and remind them of the traumatic act. So placing such scars as a choice on the gameplay characters is foolish in the extreme. This will receive all the 'positive' repercussions such a story deserves: none.

I comes as no surprise that character models like that of Stellar blade are popular amoung the trans community. No scars, no six oclock shadow, no chisel chin and perfect proportions.

So you can have top surgery scars but not an awful scar on your arm where you've had flesh taken to construct a flesh tube for a knob? I say it's not inclusive enough 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm joking of course. I mean, the character wears armour so you'll never see said scars anyway 🤦‍♂️ Oh well, RIP Bioware...I guess I can't trust Mass Effect in their hands either so I'll be boycotting that too 🤷‍♂️

There is also rumors the NPCs(Non-Player-Character) address the player with pronouns. I could go pass the scars because it's a pointless feature that will be hidden by any armor anyway unless you play without armor which is of course not recommended in an RPG if you want to survive long enough to reach level 2. However the pronouns thing is another story. For me it would be breaking immersion and spoil the game. When i play an RPG it's to leave my boring life and enter into a fantasy world for the time being and not be bothered by politics or ideologies. Is this too much to ask to have an RPG that is an RPG?? Apparently it is for some companies. I guess they prefer to have good critics and not have customers.

EA ensured mutilation scars, tuckers & binders were given free in Sims 4 too a few years ago. Sims 4 is aimed at 12 yr olds up.

Did you really expect something sane from EA at this point? I mean they keep recycling their games adding 'new features' but without any real innovative gameplay or options. They are imaginatively bankrupted and unfortunately for us too many gaming companies are like that as well. I think that's why retro-gaming is on the rise. Old classics might me graphically bad but at least they have good stories and don't require a i9 with 32G Ram and 8G GPU to run.

All of this , i was willing to overlook the pronouns (unfortunately that nonsense is thing today), the scar was irritating them im like ok i can just ignore that then the restrict slider to have a voluptios person not available then i find out the devs didn't even know who Zevran was(intro to the crows and he would get spicy for everyone)..i did pre-buy but i asked for refund and i got my refund and will not be playing this game now disappointingly.

Theoretically it could be done and it's a lot more likely to happen in a Dark Fantasy than a High Fantasy, that's really all I meant. Either way Thedas doesn't have the technology to produce those scars

Dragon Age 2 wasnt the series best but it wasnt a bad game. It just re used alot of assets. Mostly for dungeons.

A potion of transformation...polyjuice(if you watch Harry Potter). This would change your sex and it would keep with the world theme. It wouldnt break cannon. This though is really stupid and very triggering fir people who had to have mastectomy to cure their breast cancer.

Only reason a person in the magical world of DA would require actual surgery is if they were totally immune to magic, and thus form altering magics and potions would not work on them. In such case, someone desperate to change their appearance might go to a blood mage who is well versed in cutting people apart, to have her surgically alter their looks so they could escape the long arm of the law. That is the single reason I could think of for such surgical form alteration as we see here.
