Modders will figure out day one how to increase the range of the sliders (probably just some number that needs to be hacked) and NexusMods will ban every modder that submits such a mod. Same for the inevitable mod that removes the scars.

Yeah modders could definitely fix this game, but they won't bother unless it's popular. If this game drops from 40,000 concurrent players to less than 5k in 2 weeks, there just won't be a point.

Yeah but if the mod offends the mob's delicate fee-fees, they'll get the mod and modder banned from the big name modding sites. Case and point, the Spiderman flag replacer mod, the Starfield pronoun removal mod, etc.

im with smashJT, when i was a kid i used to get immersed into games. im not sure what happened but around my 20s i stop getting immersed and caring about what my character looked like. now i just hit the rando button or make something obscene. i also wish games would add an option instead of nudity can you make romance in the game optional? i want to play RPGs without all of my companions trying to sleep with my character and derail the game plot

Especially since the "romance" has gone from talk to companion, give companion gifts, do side quests all to raise the friendship value to the point where you enter an relationship to "Hi." "We dating now." But i wasn't trying to romance you, or him, or them I just wasn't being a completely evil jerk.

Modding with downloaded presets helps a lot if you want to make your own character & not waste too much time in the character creator. It also often fixes the issues with the OC looking less detailed than the rest of the crew + the characters usually look much better than what's possible with the in-game character creator. Unless the game is using an engine that's infamously hard to mod like Frostbite, which Bioware is using... 😏

During A meeting with my workplaces CEO a few years back, she said we are trying to get more diversity and representation into the workplace. I said without hesitation "but are they going to work and carry their weight?". My workplace didn't get that influx of diversity and representation, and last year we broke records in earnings.

i like how ghostbusters 2008 did it and had a generic looking guy play the fith buster and give him a bit of a silent type personality that has some jokes like him in the elevator with ray and peter and when he shoots a beam to knock peck off chains and lets him fall or shooting a tree and breaks it. id rather have a og character that has banter stuff while oc avatar games you get praised like a god by the main cast of the game it feels to me.

I am a massive BioWare fan, or used to be, but that all ended in 2014. At which point CD projekt Red took up that mantle, which ended when they released it God awful cyberpunk game. There is no chance in hell but I'm buying this new Dragon Age crap

Aside from the performance issues and glitches when it released, it's nowhere near the highly interactive RPG experience that they promoted and sold to us. You're allowed to like it and I don't blame people who like it. But it's nothing like what we were sold.. not even close

Mass Effect Shepard's face had textures on it to make it more realistic, so when you made a custom Shepard it would remove it and give you playdoh (featureless skin) face. I wish they made it possible to just choose shepards face and morph it as you wish. (Would have been better if you had a selection of scanned-in skin textures to make your custom characters better)

One RU-vidr I listen to today talked about the Ubisoft situation with shadows, he got to talk to some Ubisoft developers who reached out to him anonymously, and told him how the devs can’t speak up about bad choices to higher ups with there games and the hole toxic positivity that yaw mentioned, it’s 100% real. These corporations that have tons of money don’t listen to the gamers feedback and think whatever they do is the right way to make their games. They will burn down to the ground.
