I just can’t believe that this league is doing everything they can to destroy any of the hype that seems to be picking up viewership. Besides the jealousy of certain players in the WNBA, the media is manifesting a hatred of one player on the part of some angry and bitter “veterans” of the league. They should all be embarrassed and this venom will lead to the downward spiral of women’s basketball again. Trying to destroy a “cash cow” will end up being a pyrrhic victory.

CC is the best thing to happen to women's basketball and instead of her thanking her, they are trying to hurt her! Reese just stands under the goal and rebounds her own missed shots! Caitlin is the best all around female basketball player in the world! If she decides to walk away, the W can't keep off relying on the NBA to keep paying their salaries? Larry Bird didn't win a college championship! And Pete Marivitch played 3 years. He average was 44.4 points a game over his 3 year career

CC is the single player that destroys EVERYONE. She took all the "record this and that". She took endorsement deals from other players WITHOUT EGO. She most likely threw all the divas off their throwns WITH EASE. Of course her competition hates her. I'm still not going to watch a single WNBA because of a token performer.

What everybody overlooks is that she plays a game that is fun to watch. Race has nothing to do with it, it only matters to folks who lack a game on her level. Many of the WNBA players would rather the league fail if they can't be the center of attention with their boring game. It is easier to pad rebound stats if you are just rebounding your own missed layups.

WNBA leadership and the Media does not want a rookie white woman become the face of the WNBA. This is the harsh reality. I'm glad AB has shown friendship to CC and AB has won me over also. They are a Dynamic Duo and unfortunately the media gives the most time to the people who spew racist ideas . Unfortunately people from all ethnic groups have racists and they are given the microphone. I think AB and CC are also great people away from basketball. I admire both of them .

Imagine the league and it's players treated her for her talent, instead of her race and sexuality? Larry Bird dealt with desrespect when he came into the league too, he had the "luxury" of being able to talk smack and that broke down those walls. If Caitlin started talking smack, all we would hear about is how she's disrespectful... I am all for people just being treated with respect, and being treated as human beings, regardless of sexuality or race. I am very liberal on a lot of topics, but this is straight up just racism. If Caitlin were black, this would be a non issue and we would just be talking about how amazing this new talent is in the WNBA. She gets more respect from NBA players and that is telling!
