My credit is high as well. It’s good for cars and a home. It doesn’t make your life any easier besides those two. Even then, you’re still paying a lot of money for both. Credit scores are also a bit odd on how they are calculated.

@@Budd631 Not true. A good credit score will help a person with money make more money. I only hear broke people (you can make a high income and still be broke) who have no investments say that credit score doesn't matter. To get a HELOC? Credit matters. To get a loan to buy investment properties? Credit matters. On top of that, there are so many small things that are a minor inconvenience if you have bad credit. Any utility or service provider will want a deposit to do business with you. The irony is that they give a pass to the people who most likely have the money to put down a deposit. Everything is simpler with good credit. And a lot of jobs run your credit when you apply for them, as it is seen as an indicator of a person's character.

This guy is absolutely right bad bad discipline. Most people have bad discipline like I said in my earlier commentary agree about the middle class in debt all the time and never have savings to back up. Emergencies, yet they have a nice house and a nice brand new car. Every 23 years yet they have no financial backing. Never, this is because of bad discipline and people don't save either. You have to be disciplined with your money and don't spend what you don't need. But we live in a hustle. Spend culture where we spend and buy things we don't have. Don't need. This is why the poor state poor always bad decisions over and over the choice is always yours. You don't have to have to have a low credit score. I don't and I'm working class, but I talked to you.

The guy that said "if you miss one payment it (your score) drops 90 points," wasn't telling the whole truth. Credit card companies don't report until 30 days late and that means the person didn't even make the MINIMUM payment. Loans don't report late until 90 days late. Many people who miss payments are GROSSLY behind and negligent in the managing of their finances.
@exoticbeautybrina2156
@exoticbeautybrina2156 2 месяца назад
I agree with him 100%. Because I always pay way over my minimum, maybe 3 times the minimum. And once I wasn't feeling well and I was late by 1 day, and my score went down 60 points. I was so upset I was blue. The credit system is a drunk if you ask anyone. They don't wait 30 days or 90 to report anything. Because I wasn't late like that. I was late by one day. So why did my score drop by 60 points? And when I tried paying off my cards, my score only went up by 7 points. This is horrible. I didn't put myself in this mess by over spending etc. I ended up using my cards more than I ever did because I left my husband for being unfaithful, and because I wouldn't take him back he said he won't take care of my girls and he sure doesn't. So I ended up as a single mom with a lower income than his and had to use up my cards more than before. Plus when the pandemic hits and with food and everything going up. Many things cost more, but your pay remains the same. How are you supposed to clear the water? You are only sinking deeper with those food prices while trying to pay off your card fully. But once I get my tax return, the other 2 will be fully paid off. I only owe 528 on one and 1700 on my other. So going into june 1st they would all be paid off fully. Not everyone with a lower score means they don't have good money habits. I budget and buy only things that are on sale and try to save a few dollars in savings in case. But can never go past 3 or 5 months before something happens where I have to use some of it. I do get upset but i have no choice. But i won't give up. I teach my children about spending and credit. I think it is a very important part of parenting.
@slylockfox85
@slylockfox85 2 месяца назад
@@exoticbeautybrina2156 What you are saying just isn't factual. Whatever the due date is on your CC bill, you are not reported to credit reporters until it is 30 days from that date and you have not even made the MINIMUM payment. This is a fact, not my opinion. And I know this because I asked my CC company when I forgot to pay one time. Quite frankly, unless you have requested a full credit REPORT, I don't know how you could know what caused it.

At the end of the day it's up to you guys. We have a choice we have free will. Despite the system is rigged against us in the sense that it's about credit credit credit. It's up to you to maintain it and not have no credit. If you don't want it, talk to you, we can do it ourselves. But we make excuses. You don't have to have credits and all a lot of money. It's up to you. We will, we all have choices make a right choice that's all? I did.
@skapunkoialternativeliving6522
@skapunkoialternativeliving6522 2 месяца назад
Actually, there's truth to that as well with the credit score. It's up to you to maintain your score even though it sounds bad but a lot of people, especially middle class people have no discipline or financial discipline. This is why most middle class people, even though they may have a nice house and a nice car payment. They don't have no backup money or savings in their account. How weird is that that tells you? People have no financial discipline.
@skapunkoialternativeliving6522
@skapunkoialternativeliving6522 2 месяца назад
Well, I'll have you example, if you have a low score, you can still get a car payment but you're gonna pay very high VS someone who has very great credit, their payment will be lower. That's the difference, so you still get credit. But you're gonna pay a very, very high price for your bad decisions or your low score. The lower the score, the more you pay, the higher the score, the less you pay. That's how it works.

#TheDesirableTruth 800 credit score here !!!!! The thing about having a good credit score you can pay a bill off before it even gets delivered to your house it takes 24/hours for it to register in bank computer and you can pay it off little by little until fully paid before bill gets to your house the banks want to see how well you save your money and if they lend you money they want to know you will pay it off just as quick it's not hard don't spend beyond your means
@skapunkoialternativeliving6522
@skapunkoialternativeliving6522 2 месяца назад
Okay, this is my advice to you guys to avoid losing your credit score going down because you cancel your card. Do not cancel the credit card. Simply cut it up and forget about it after a while. The credit companies will cancel your card because you're not using it without consequences but if you call them and cancel the card you will pay a price and it's consequences, you will lower your score because of it. So the best way like I said before. Cut the card up with the scissors and ignore it. And they'll cancel you for free. No consequences, that's what I did.

Many don't know this but some employers will check a credit score. It's really an indicator of a person's word, decision making, character, etc. Before you ever loan a friend money, ask to see their credit score and if it is not good, don't do it. You may think that because you are friends that they won't try to get one over on you. I have learned the hard way, with a brother, that this is not so. The same tactics of avoidance, blocking numbers, ghosting, etc that they employ with banks and other creditors, they will do he same to you. And if you are one of these individuals, please don't reply to me with your excuses. People like this ALWAYS have an excuse. For the record, I have an 813 credit score. It is possible to have such a score in your mid 20s if you manage credit responsibly from 18.
