oh god. when i was in early middle school throughout early high school i had the biggest, most embarrassing crush on this man. i feel like i’ve been emotionally stunted in a way because he took up so much of my formative years. in a way, i don’t think i’ll be able to fully recover from it. it’s been years since i’ve last watched a sideshow bob episode. i should keep it that way, lest the worst possible thing happen and i find my way back to square one. *i wish i knew how to quit you, bob.*

I will say my favorite Sideshow Bob episode is the one where it's revealed he has a brother. Cecil Underdunk Terwilliger voiced by David Pierce with Kelsey Grammer voicing Sideshow Bob is not only funny but a great call back for the TV series Frasier. I had always enjoyed the two when they worked together and it shows even in The Simpsons.

@@roberttreacy8271Completely agree. It should have been his last episode as a major character. He had a full character arc and it was beautiful. I would have been totally fine with him making cameos later on and appearing as a major character in a Treehouse of Horror but “Brother from Another Series” should have been his final curtain.

@@roberttreacy8271 Exactly. And considering that Cecil tried to kill Bob, it makes absolutely no sense why they team up later on. The writers were just at a loss of how to handle the character.

My favourite line may be when Bob says his brother spent 4 years at clown college and Cecil says "I'd thank you not to refer to Princeton that way". Bob's disdain for Princeton is a little running gag came up in the episode where he ends up at minimum security prison, and the rowers (Yale alums at the prison) need another rower to challenge the Princeton alums and Bob snarls "Princeton!" and joins the crew. Apparently Bob is a Yalie (a graduate of Yale).

Bob's obsession with Bart got to the point that he doesn't even want to kill him anymore, he just wants to be part of his life. there are several chapters where it is seen that he had several opportunities to finish with Bart and not ago, even he himself admitted that he got used to Bart and the routine of both ... And also the little house of terror does not count but if it did, it would be confirmed that Bob emotionally depends on the child of 10 years. And let's not forget how possessive he is with him when it comes to "killing" him.

In the end he becomes a good guy and actually apologizes to bart. In the newer episodes. (Where bart hugs Bob in the missle silo, they team up in a Christmas episode too). They seem to be good for now.

Ya know, I kinda wish the episode where he kills Bart was Canon, since he does end up alive in the end anyways, it wouldn’t really hurt the status quo. You could say that Sideshow Bob becoming a weird animal monster would, but I think that the show has reset the status quo in weirded ways (in cannon episodes)

I like Sideshow Bob because when he is not being evil he acts like a gentleman and he is a worthy villain in my book and his plans don’t seemed to be dark to me although other people can think otherwise plus the only characters on the show I get really frustrated over are Mr. Burns and Mayor Quimby because they can get away with their corruption.

Sideshow Bob becomes mayor of Springfield. Sideshow Bob becomes mayor of a small Tuscan village. Sideshow Bob is united with his own brother named Cecil Terwilliger. Sideshow Bob united with his own family. Sideshow Bob puts Bart Simpson into the casket to be cremated. And Sideshow Bob finally kills Bart Simpson again, in Treehouse of Horror XXXIV: "Ei8ht" is a parody of Seven and The Silence of the Lambs.

My favorite sideshow bob moment is when he's in prison speaking with Birch Barlow and says *"Attempted murder", now honestly, what is that!? Do they give a Nobel prize for "attempted" chemistry?* I found that line extremely funny. But honestly, my favorite Bob moments are all of them, I just like the little sexy psycho Bob 🤭😍

Indeed, especially dragging thousands of innocent people in his heinous scheme to murder a ten year old (besides that reprehensible crime), operating on a fellow inmate - who is probably no angel either, but presumably is less evil than Bob. Luckily, Bart, being the natural-born prankster, got a kick out of messing with Bob, when he wasn't being scared shitless of him - those are one of my favorite moments, Bart gloating over the psychopath's defeat ☺️ Karma is real in The Simpsons.
