British people on average are just plain wittier then americans. Watching these three brits riff and word play off each other is great. Some americans have it but its not as abundant. Great guests, they vibe perfectly with jonesy and they all can play off each other perfect in regards to making the interview essentially one long comedy bit. I guess america being a melting pot , and so large with so many different cultures it is hard to perfect a national style of wit that everybody gets. In that way i think we americans are more straightforward in our communications without interjecting all the clever humor as neccesity. Humor can be mis interpreted if all the players dont get whats going on , so i think americans dont get the same practice for fear of insulting people who may or may not get the nuance. There is also the residual puritanical thing here so your never quite sure who you may offend which makes it difficult.
You've just made the classic American stereotypical assumption about the Brit sense of humour. Different areas of the country have a nuanced humour difference. I would agree that in the USA land of the free you might easily offend someone. The Beatles John Lennon managed that. The irony of Lennon & his comment upsetting a load of racist cunts who were still treating people who were not white worse than rabid dogs was & still is apparent. Upsetting so called Christians who felt it OK to treat others like shit because of colour, while at the same time be offended by a remark about Christ is fucking ridiculous.
Love them, but didn't appreciate the childporn jokes. Also Cliff Richard has done some pretty amazing music. I'd guess Justin might like some of his stuff.
Funny how Steve is so proud to have quit smoking 16 years ago but still looks and sounds so unhealthy and "chesty"......,that must be a bit of a bummer😆
