Eric's story about going to that bar in Japan and just having a blast with a bunch of randoms sounds like my kind of life. I've been in a pretty rural area my whole life and I just want to move to a city and socialize with anyone who cares. I love talking to people, and there aren't enough people who feel the same where I live. Aside from the actual school side of it, my first semester at college was the time of my life.
Lovely podcast episode❤ will finish listening later. Thanx for this, Eric is like a brother to me even though i've never met him. Been around his channel since the very beginning of his career on RU-vid, i basically grew up with him. He had a big impact on my early 20s❤
2:34:15 Here’s my worst fail like this I’ve had so far. TLDR: I was streaming this difficult self imposed Fortnite challenge playing on Xbox cloud gaming on my phone and when I tabbed out of the game to Google Chrome to show my new all time best eliminations in 1 match from the previous match and then back to Xbox Cloud Gaming the stream stopped picking up the gameplay audio, even though I could still hear it myself in game. This resulted in a silent recording from that point forward where I have to manually add in the sound effects where possible during editing. (Long comment warning) In Fortnite, there are accolades for dealing x amount of damage (250, 500, 1000) with each different weapon type in the game’s loot pool which are called (weapon type placeholder) specialist, expert & master respectively. So, back on December 2nd 2023 I was recording footage for my Fortnite season 27 version of seasonal Fortnite challenge video where I try to get the weapon specialist accolades for 7 of the different weapon types in a single match and I had for some reason put this off to last a few hours before the downtime for the next season started plus I was playing through Xbox Cloud Gaming on my phone since a friend was playing on my console at the time. Even though the challenge is actually kinda easy for me at this point because I’ve been attempting/doing it in each new Fortnite season since season 12 in April 2020 with mixed results, I only had 3 good attempts during the entire session before the servers went temporarily offline for the downtime before the start of the next season. • In the 1st good match I got all 7 but the stream crashed halfway through the match so it only recorded the 1st half of that one. • In the 2nd good match, I found all 7 types but only did enough damage with 6 of them. • In my 3rd good match, I got all 7 and successfully recorded it but when reviewing the footage, I noticed the audio was muted after the point where I tab out to show my new all time eliminations in a single match record from the previous match. This resulted in a silent recording from that point forward where I have to manually add in the sound effects where possible during editing. It’s going to take me a while to finish adding in all the sound effects, but at least they’re all easily obtainable by just launching creative mode and then grabbing the sound effects from recordings of using the weapons in there.
