I mean, the only way most of these characters beat each other is that one of them waits for the other to do a thing, like they're in a turn-based game, and then they rotate.

Devastator’s dark universe is the manifestation of one of Batman’s greatest fears: That everything Superman is, is a total lie. Edit: I came back to this comment because I realized there’s another possibility to this dark universe’s representation. It’s either the one I mentioned above, or it’s embodies Batman’s great fear of being forced to kill Superman. By having to end the Man of Tomorrow, he might as well take tomorrow away from the world. In Batman’s mind, that would make him no different than Doomsday; a Devastator.
I really enjoy the production value on these videos. The voice acting, the way the text appears with the voice over, the transitions -- it's really working for me.

Honestly, this is far more practical than any of the other anti-Superman contingency plans we've seen from Bruce. The intellect and cunning of Batman in a body more powerful than the original Doomsday equals GG for supes. None of this trying to fight Superman with the body of a normal human by executing some convoluted plan. Just turn yourself into a literal Kryptonian killing machine and go to town.
Okay. But there is a teeny tiny risk factor left. How do you stop Devestator? If he is stronger than superman, and as smart as Batman, you might have traded your big problem for a bigger problem.
it's obvious that batman can kill superman, the real moment that is of a concern is if superman is holding back or not. Any slight holding back would probably kill superman, but literally going all out and batman is toast.. As with Superman's monologuing getting him wrecked.
@@fatstrategist Cause it isn't real. The writers are irrational human beings who have biases and agendas and impose them onto their comic world. If a guy like Superman were real, and a guy like Batman were real, the Superman guy could toast the Batman guy before he even knew the fight was happening. In truth, the writers just like what they believe Batman represents more than what they believe Superman represents, and therefore the stories tend to glorify Batman more.
In the movie version of them fighting I agree. But in the comics I feel the inference is Batman has had a lot more time working with the the other superpowered heroes closely and with them (including Superman) during that time being somewhat relaxed around Batman which has allowed Batman much more time to study first hand, research and specifically prepare his counter measures for each of the team members with Batman paying particular attention to Superman and all of his abilities and very few weaknesses (as his paranoia would dictate). Other powerful enemies Batman ends up struggling a lot more with due to not spending as much time gathering first hand data to help him be as prepared as possible, even against his arch enemies as periods of time go by where they are out of the picture potentially improving their own abilities and/or gaining additional powers or new allies to help them when they finally emerge to attack a slightly less prepared Batman. At least that is how I see this discrepancy explained in many of those situations. Granted it doesn't work in all the scenarios but its enough to keep my mind in the story.
I want to see a superman who is the most cautious, lives and fights in a lowkey manner but still is overpowered ,just that he doesn't uses his powers. Also a superman who does over prep work and has contingency plans for contingency plans regarding his weaknesses. Also who is proficient in all of his krypton knowledge and does practical use for it regularly.

Batman beating up Superman, and Superman turning evil, have become really old news. When Miller did it in 1986 it was an OMFG ! moment because it was fresh and felt earned, and Batman himself died in the process. Flash forward and it seems to happen every other week. What I always found ridiculous about Injustice was how Batman was completely fine with having Harley on his team - who helped Joker murder Lois Lane and nuke Metropolis, which started the whole problem. That whole series got tedious after a while. I mean in one episode Superman gets beat up by Alfred, and in another he beats up Darkseid. There was zero consistency because the writers lacked the skill to set up scenarios that made sense. I mean A: Superman decides to take over the world and B: Superman also gives away pills that make ordinary people as powerful as him. Nope, can't see a flaw in that logic😖 Sorry, off on a tangent there....

It's the Dark Multiverse, a multiverse born from the "real" universe's fears, hopes, and regrets. And a _lot_ of people are terrified of Superman, or rather, of what would happen if he ever turned evil. I think the implication is supposed to be that Devastator's universe, Earth -1, is the one that embodies those fears. And Devastator himself is Batman's fear of Superman going rogue, and of having to kill his best friend for the sake of the world.
Anyone else think it's kinda dumb that TBWL became this multiverse wide threat? He was a really cool story but idk him becoming this anti-monitor type threat just felt stupid. As a matter of fact, yes! In the _Superman: Doomed_ story arc, Superman was infected by the Doomsday virus, and slowly transformed into "SuperDoom" until he was eventually cured.

Lois is sadly wrong. Hope on its own is pretty useless. Youi can't just hope for a better tomorrow, you have to actively make tomorrow better yourself. I love the heros but, the villans do make good points as well. The other unavoidable truth is, most villans are created when someone tries to do the right thing the wrong way.
