In questa intervista bowie si è dimostrato intelligente e capace di creare show, celentano si è dimostrato uno stupido e incapace di sostenere un'intervista con un minimo di logica, aveva davanti a sé uno dei più grandi artisti della storia e ha bruciato l'occasione proprio come aveva fatto anni prima con elton john.

Non esageriamo), ma le sue risposte a domande inopportune e mal poste, ma che si potevano comunque capire nel senso complessivo ("Che fare per salvare il mondo?"), sono state sprezzanti e individualistiche. A parte ciò, Celentano gli domandò sostanzialmente che cosa possa fare una star per aiutare il mondo. E Bowie rispose con un Menimpippo. Tutto qui. "Mi tengo i miei milioni e me ne sto come un ragazzino capriccioso a farmi gli affari miei". Poi la caduta di stile di dire, a parte, che Celentano secondo lui era un idiota. Conosco bene Bowie, lo apprezzo, ma per me qui chi è uscito male dall'incontro è lui.

non ricordo l'intero intervento di Bowie con relativa canzone, tuttavia immagino che il momento dell'intervista sia venuto dopo l'esibizione. a quel punto penso che Celentano, come sua cifra, non avesse preparato proprio nulla di nulla e abbia buttato qualche domanda a caso. certo mi fa specie che un cantante e musicista come Adriano, trovandosi davanti un mostro sacro come lui e anche più di lui, non abbia avuto qualche curiosità un po' più 'musicale' o anedottica. un vero peccato

@@tarekben5524 yeah sure you have a point, it's dumb questions to put on one individual, but it was kinda aimed more at his privilege in this world of suffering, for which he isn't responsible per se, but all of these global elites and celebs kinda are responsible because they have the power to change things, but it's always just a matter of deflecting responsibilities, which he does here by deflecting it at politicians. Artists have always been critics of status quo, and the sad thing is today when they reach their power wealth and fame, they just blend in with the status quo and this story of "youthful rebellion" is finished, with no real change whatsoever, it was just a show for the masses, panem et circenses. Also I disagree with how much people are idolizing him, sure he made some nice albums, but man come on, these people only see either black or white, one day they praise someone to heaven and the next day they rip him to shreds. Bowie had faults, many faults, treating people like objects you just discard after use, etc. People are either unwilling or don't posses the insight to see more deeply behind the mask. Either way it's very unhealthy to idolize anyone, not just David Bowie, and here Celentano was made to "look like an idiot" in contrast to him for even daring to ask him these questions, I mean, why wouldn't he ask him these questions? a man who lives in Manhattan "way above the world", who've seen the poverty and struggle, came out of it clawing his way out. Why wouldn't he ask him these questions, was he supposed to ask him about the weather in Bristol? And you can see once the man gets wealhty and famous, it changes him, he becomes "out of touch", he needs to get down out of his skyscraper and touch some grass. Which he did. He's dead now, back into the black soil from which he came from. David Bowie now lives only in your head, but in reality there is no David Bowie, it's all ghosts, like cobweb stuck on a hinge of a door that leads to the real, the unborn mind.

I am Italian but l don't like celentano.l think that Bowie was more intelligent n smarter than Celentano.

@@orsettaduria4322 Poi sembra che Celentano stando alle cronache dopo essersi preso dell'Idiota da Bowie stesso e dopo avere spiegato che lo aveva invitato perchè sapeva che fosse un uomo impegnato per l'ambiente contro la guerra ecc.. gli fece quindi quelle domande, e Celentano concluse povocatoriamente che era interessato solo a fare pubblicità per il suo disco. Poi ho scoperto (ero piccolo nell'87 e non potevo ricordare tutto) che Celentano lo ha fatto altre volte invitando proprio personaggi della musica impegnati su queste battaglie vedi l'intervista fatta a Little Stevens, tutta un altra persona, molto gradevole, gentile, ironico e con un intelligenza fuori dal comune,.. Infatti l'ho pubblicata sul mio profilo Facebook dicendo "tutto quello che non ha saputo essere Bowie".

@@hugs4drugs205 why not though? Why should celebrities be afraid of saying what they believe in? I guess there could be an explanation. Like maybe they're not free, meaning that they belong to a particular company and have to stick to the created image. In my opinion it's wrong anyway.

He was much more polite than Celentano deserved. He was trying to use humor to deflect the questions he preferred not to answer.

Bowie aveva una grandissima cultura anche dell’immagine, non c’entrano niente i filtri, basta pensare al periodo Ziggy. Era un camaleonte e sapeva quanto era importante il look nel suo personaggio. Celentano è sempre stato bruttarello, punta su altro.
