@@kendrickmanhattan8861 I've never seen it before in my 64 years of being that a single player that they say ain't this ain't that but when it comes time to blame someone for something Bron has all the power to get the blame for everything going wrong in the NBA!!
Naw bruh this was classic everybody talked about it and this was MySpace Facebook days. He was my favorite player then and he was goated after he killed them in the dark blue Cavs jerseys
@@SumerPlao Nope Kobe wasn’t better than the blueprint of his playing style. His fg percentage for one and small hands. No one had him in the conversation for all time great until his death. No one wants to have that conversation.
I’m 42, and grew up worshipping MJ. I recorded all his games, repeatedly watched his documentaries, I even cried for his first two retirements. I fell in love with basketball and ended playing ball for 32 years because of MJ. I used to hate Kobe because I did t want him to surpass Jordan. That being said, LeBron is hands down the best player I’ve ever witnessed..
@@howsittastes I'm 37, and I grew up worshipping Michael Jordan. I had every game recorded, every poster on my wall, and l'd watch his documentaries on repeat. When he retired the 2nd time, I cried like l'd lost a piece of myself. MJ was basketball to me, the epitome of greatness. His influence made me fall in love with the game . That being said Kobe Bryant was the best basketball player I’ve ever seen ,most skilled offensively We’ve ever seen in the nba
Maan...I've always said Players get too much blame for the loses but everybody gets credit when the players win. For example Knicks and Nuggets. Melo gets alot of flack for never winning a ring but the organizations he played for were loser for 20 years before Melo popped up.
OMG this one video is better than the whole last dance. A 19 year old grown ass man. Jordan was eating noodles in a dorm room playing teenagers in college at 19.😂😂
Bruh who cares what he was doing at 19. Jordan got 6 rings in 15 years. Lebron going on 22 with 4. He went in older won more and retired earlier... He literally changed the whole trajectory of what the NBA came to be. Helped create one of the most iconic shoe brands in the history of the world. And is still talked about even 21 years after retirement... no hate towards lebron, but put respek on the goat name...
Larry Brown destroyed his legacy.. LeBron haters want to blame Bron for not playing.. Ppl who actually watch ball know we got bronze because of Brown..
I'm glad someone made this video because I watched when Lebron and Carmelo was in the game and they were unstoppable. I would think the coach would have noticed that too. Larry Brown ruined the Knicks as well. They traded away talent to please him.
It’s unfortunate that the win for PR The as only because the US team didn’t have the better players playing lol. Its an underserved win that technically wasn’t earned
Trying to punish grown men like it’s high school for showing up at the time scheduled is crazy!! coaches like that will never win!!! This ain’t little league
Lebron is the best player we’ve ever seen. Debate the greatest all you want but lebron is the best basketball player we’ve ever seen. It’s insane how long and how early he’s been ELITE
@@johnstamos4325 well Darvin Ham did apologize for not being more experienced in his coaching and made mistakes, but LeBron had nothing to do with his firing LeBron whole career had nothing but rookie coaches so he doesn't really get into who the coach is,and majority of the coaches he's had has gone on to be great coaches and they credit their success to LeBron, LeBron has the respect of coaches around the league and some college coaches!!
@@TowDow3those guys won championships with top 20 all time players.. yall act like they won with lesser rosters and coached so well they won championships.. players win games.. the coaches job is to just not mess it up.. so when Phil won the Championship, MJ retired and they didn’t win it the next year, he didn’t coach good enough to win or did they not win because MICHAEL JORDAN wasn’t there no more??
Actually that was a franchise changing pick they missed out on. They didn't even play the player they drafted(Darko) when they won that championship. But by not picking Melo, they missed out on being a dynasty and completely altered Melo's career. I think Melo would have had to learn to play defense to play and would have ended up being in the goat convo
Yea you know what they say he doesn't have "killer mentality" because he's not an asshole to his peers and teammates the same people who say he doesn't have a killer mentality will turn around and call him a front runner and or accuse him stat padding....🤔
The same people who hate on LBJ’s bronze medal are the same folks who are empathetic to Jayson Tatum’s benching. The hypocrisy is real. 2004 could have gone way different if Larry Brown didn’t hate younger players.
Skip Payless(I know its Bayless) is famous for saying for years LBJ doesn't possess that basketball killer gene; well I beg to differ. I've watched LBJ his whole career toss up buzzer beater after buzzer beater. He has been nothing short of phenomenal his entire basketball career! He IS the best basketball player to ever lace up a pair of basketball shoes...period.
At 19… 43…9…5…3 against the Champs with the blowout W & who… TF was on his ROSTER!!!😳 Oh.. & remember, this wasn’t the “soft” era either!😒 I swear some people just be talking & from a straight up place of hate.🤦🏾♂️
Larry Brown is one of the most hated coaches by his players because he refuses to adapt to ANYTHING! He has his philosophy on how he thinks basketball should be played, and YOU have to adapt to him. He's not adapting to you! Thus why he was no longer an affective coach in the NBA
I think most people take for granted the luck we have as basketball fans to be able to WITNESS what this kid from Akron is and has been doing. When he retires......what happens?
It was that entire AI interaction that let me know that Brown was truly unfit to coach. Watching film to show their posture on the bench?NO ball player is happy to be on the bench. What he pulled with Team USA was unfathomable and it cost them the gold medal.
That bronze medal was on tim Duncan Allen Iverson and stephon marbury watch you can't blame three rookies that barely played Jordan and Kobe fans are so pathetic for trying to use this against LeBron smh 🤦🏾♂️
Why didn't Kobe play? He was in his prime in 2004. What about T Mac, and KG, Paul Pierce, Vince C, Shaq? They deserve some of the blame for leaving Team USA high and dry. And YES, wtf was Coach Brown thinking?
Larry Brown is an ok coach but not great. The ring he won in Detroit was more lakers problem than him coaching. Joe Dumar brought in some defensive minded players and Chauncey Billups was directing the offense. His last coaching stop at SMU he stole their money and did nothing. He just got exposed in the Olympics.
Tim Duncan and A.I we're the only superstars out of the starting five. Three of the best players LeBron, Wade, and Melo didn't get run. That's why they won bronze. That's Larry Brown's fault.
I remember this in real time. Every basketball fan I knew all said "Why aren't the young guys playing? They are clearly better than the ones who are starting." We also knew it came down to the ego of the coaches (Larry Brown). A blind man could see that. A blind man could also see that Bron, Melo, Wade, Amare & Bosh were no ordinary "youngsters". Man lessons can be taught based on this ... how ego can get the best of us, too much power is no good, realizing you don't know everything, being a leader doesn't mean you are leading the charge, lost goes on & on ...
Larry brown and the coaching staff was not cohesive and they had a bunch of young players. Marbury and Iverson didn’t fit team USA. Those players don’t fit team USA.
Larry callin' them kids. Dude those are grown ass men, and you're not their Daddy. Terrible coaching of the Olympics. He'd rather spend his time trying to teach a lesson on who's in charge, rather figuring out how to win with the talent they had. smh!
I think ppl 4get how cold Lebron was when he 1st came in … I cnt understand how ppl can say he’s not a Goat.. Bruh LeBron like that🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ idc if ppl say MJ better .. MJ didn’t have the pressure of the world on his shoulders … The only thing MJ got over Bron is the shoes 🥶
Sounds like Larry was the reason a team loaded with stars didn't get that gold. Or someone had placed a massive bet for USA to lose and Larry just made sure it happened
I remember when this happened. All the haters started with the LeBronze James mess when Larry Brown was the real reason. It made me look back at what he did to A.I. and question if he did it for the good of the team or just to knock A.I. down and show him that Larry Brown had the power. The only reason I watched the Olympics was to see what the younger, more athletic guys were going to bring for the US basketball team. Larry Brown’s ego ruined the team and the gold.
Suspending players during the Olympics is the dumbest shit EVER I have also realized that Larry Brown is the type of man that will never admit he's wrong or made a mistake
Early lebron was the best player i have ever watched in my life fr .. i became a hater when he lost the first one to the spurs and got swept .. it wasn’t til i got a little bit older from that time i realized i was tripping he was practically young af.. i appreciate his greatness
What bothers me most about Larry Brown is his smugness, that "I'm superior to everyone else" attitude that was dripping off him in that interview. He came across as supremely arrogant and yet he never touched a ball, just pitiful.
9 guys drop out and Marbury, Jefferson and Marion are starters. Brown has no clue. It’s not coaching if no one is there to be coached (maybe they dropped out because of him) and if you are so ridged that adjusting for the greater good isn’t likely.
Bron had nothing to do with them getting a bronze. He didn't even really play him, Melo or Wade. It's funny how no one blames Jefferson, A.I, Shawn Marion or Stephon Marbury for that Olympics. Why have the Bron and them on the team if you're not going to play them.
