They often reinterpret the song, changes it into Swedish from English, or the other way around, or change the genre or style of the song. It's so very interesting, since it often becomes such an interesting mix between the original artist, and the one making the cover, and bringing an old song to a new audience. It's a great concept.

When I saw this clip of her doing this song on Swedish tv, I became instantly a fan of this song. It is hauntingly beautiful. I usually don't listen to songs sung in Swedish, but this blew me away. Thanks for reminding me of it,I need to renew my playlist and have this one in it again. ❤from Sweden.

Miss Li was a big fan of Pugh Rogerfeldt and from what I recall, the fact that Pugh Rogerfeldt was joining that season was the biggest reason that Miss Li said Yes to take part of the show. Pugh Rogerfeldt had a lot of popular songs in Sweden, including songs like Små Lätta Moln (Small light clouds), Här Kommer Natten (Here comes the night), Nattmara (Old word for NIghtmare) and Dinga Linga Lena. Pugh sadly passed away last year after dealing with CBD.

More Miss Li, that one with Lars Winnerbäck is great and very emotional. Hopefully the Google translated lyrics does justice to the original text of that song, I've seen on a few reactions of yours to swedish music the translated lyrics are off or there's bad mistakes.

The format for "Så Mycket Bättre" where a group of artists have their day when they talk about their life and interspersed through the day the other artists interpret their songs often leads to great results. It's common that the performer will just have been told why the song means so much to the original artist and then they have to stand up and sing it to them.. that's a lot of pressure to deliver your best performance ever.

Miss Li really has an amazing style! you should react to more of her songs and the video where she accidentally fell into the water at a live performance😅Really enjoy these "Så mycket bättre" reactions since you get two versions of a song. Darin (the young guy at the table) is a great artist. "En säng av rosor" became a huge hit and I think it will become a wedding classsic. His covers of Apan som liknar dig, Astrologen and What's the point are great.

I enjoyed your reaction to Miss Li, it was great! That translation you showed wasn’t very good though. Eg ’människor’ means people not human shoes 😄 and there were more errors as well. Miss Li is very talented and has a style of her own imo. The show ”Så mycket bättre” (So much better) is a very popular show in Sweden and some of the artists have had a new start of their careers, especially those that haven't been so relevant for a while.

I would really like to see you twoo make a reaction video on Ulf Lundell, our national rock poet. Some people compare him to Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen or Neil Young and he sure is influenced by all those big stars but he mixes that with a genuine swedish touch. In 1984 he had his biggest hit with a song called Öppna landskap (Open landscapes in english). Many swedes wanted to make that song our new national anthem. But that didn´t happen, offcourse. Ha has been very productive since almost 50 years and has made lots of albums with great songs. One of them called "Förlorad värld" (Lost world) is a bit similar to Springsteens old hit "The promiesd land". At least I think so. But there are hundreds and hundreds of songs from this man who actually was born the same year as Bruce Springsteen. Let me give you a few suggestions: Levande och varm (Alive and warm), Gå ut och var glad (Go out and be happy), Isabella or Kärleken förde oss samman (Love is what brought us togehter). I sure hope you will make that video and that you do it really soon! Thanks in advance!

My first recommendation will be Sophie Zelmani, a quiet and delicate self-taught Swedish singer, songwriter (lyrics and music), guitar and harmonica player, accompanied by a great band with her permanent producer Lars Halapi on guitar. She has released some 15 albums during three decades. Accordingly, it’s difficult to pick one representative song, but I would start with either “Precious burden” (from her second album in 1998) or ”Do you remember” (from her latest studio album in 2022; both in original studio versions, poor sound quality live). If you prefer a live video, I would suggest “Once” (a duet with late Freddie Wadling, live on Swedish tv 2003). She is very shy and has never participated in “Så mycket bättre”. In addition to her own compositions, she has recorded a few songs by your Leonard Cohen and her rendition of Bob Dylan’s “Most of the Time” was selected for the Dylan film Masked and Anonymous. Anton Corbijn, who has photographed Sophie Zelmani several times, once wrote that “hearing her sing is like being wrapped up in a velvet blanket and being brought back to ground-level simultaneously”. Back in the 90’s, when her songs were heard in American movies and tv series such as Independence Day and Buffy, she was about to be promoted in the US by Jeff Buckley’s manager but cancelled for personal reasons.
