Albin Lee Meldau is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician. He self-released his debut EP, Lovers, in 2016 with help from producer Björn Yttling. Later that year, Albin signed to Astralwerks, who re-released his Lovers EP, and in 2017 released the follow-up Bloodshot EP.
Louise Hoffsten, born September 6, 1965, in Linköping, Sweden, is a Swedish songwriter, musician and singer spanning several genres, notably rock, blues, folk and pop. Her father, Gunnar Hoffsten, was also a musician and played the trumpet in a jazz band.

Albin Meldau participated in that tv-show in the year 2018 and after a success making his own versions of the other artists songs and music he went direct to rehab for drug and alcohol abuse. There is a chance that he is actually “loaded” during his performance you are watching. In 2022 he was invited again to the show and was even better Continue your journey through Swedish artists… 😊. Agnes is one of Swedens best singers. She had a World Smash Hit with RELEASE ME. Start with that and then her most recent hits Fingers crossed & 24 Hours. And the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria. It must have been love tribute concert of Marie is also magic.

This is from a show called "Så mycket bättre". They gather up a couple of famous swedish artists for a weekend where they cover each others songs. Another great performance from the show is "Magnus Carlson - Eternal love", also Agnes Carlsson - Instant Repeater.

I’d also recommend Miriam Bryant with ”One Last Time” (she translated a swedish song to english), and Daniel Adams Ray with ”Skotthål” (the original Song is a jojk, a traditional sami way of singing and is also fantastic). Så mycket bättre has been an incredibly popular show, and there are a lot of good songs to be found in clips from it.

This is one of my favourite TV-shows in Sweden! It’s called Så mycket bättre (So much better) and the songs they perform are almost always better than the original. So much better!😊 I love that you give attention to Swedish singers in your reaction videos because we do have a lot of really good musicians in Sweden. Great reaction, guys! 👍🏻

Hi. “Så mycket bättre” (so much better) is a tv-show where Swedish artists get together in a villa on the Swedish island Gotland for a week or to and do not covers but interpretations/versions of each other’s songs. It’s a really great show and it has a lot of viewers. There has been several seasons. Albin won the Swedes heart after his first season on “så mycket bättre” but unfortunately he struggled with addiction before and during the taping of the show and soon after the show aired he was forced into rehab. He came back a few years later and was clean then. This kind of explains why he hasn’t been playing and making music for a period of time. His latest album was really praised. He has released music both in Swedish and English

Google translate fails in words with a double meaning, which is a big deal in this song. "Dra en vals", literally drag a waltz, means "pull a lie". Shifting between playing a waltz and pulling adds the twist and you'll reinterpret as playing with someone's emotions. Play my favorite waltz. Pull my favorite of your lies.

In the programme Så Mycket Bättre artists sing others songs in there own way. Many make another text to them and change the music. The 6-7 artists live together for a week. We have a great R'n'B singer Cherrie that also was in that progamme but another season. Cherries parents fled from Somalia to Russia and then to Norway where Cherrie was born. 1 year later they moved to Finland and when she was 10 they came to Stockholm Sweden. She have toured around the world singing in swedish and all love her. Fans use translation tools to get what she sings. The same season the sami rapper/singer/jojk Maxida Märak was on too.

Albin Lee is famous, not only in Sweden but in Europe and he has even been traveling in the USA. But yes his voice is unique, just like him. He don’t see him self as a music artist, more like an artist of life. He has admitted that he had taken different substances and was drunk during the whole program. And that he was in a psychosis. He had a heavy substance abuse during this time. He was invited back a couple of years later to redeem himself when sober.

Pop artists nowadays, and in, Sweden in particular imho, should not in general with a few exceptions of course, perform live during the last 25 years give and take, they should stay with studio version and just mime the lyrics unfortunately Until the early 2000's the singers from Sweden could actually perform live really well, it was clearly higher standards b4
