Entitled, "The Way We Are" This is an OETA PBS rebroadcast from 1990. Unfortunately, it's the only episode (1 of 10) I have. Anything he does I love!!!! Obviously dated but his stuff never gets old to me!!! Have fun!!! Also, voice and picture seem to be slightly off at times...sorry!

This is the kind of presentation that enriches and enlightens the viewer. The world would be better off if more people were exposed to this kind of presentation.

And here we are, almost 40 years later, only just beginning to have telecommuting as an accepted work option. And it took a global pandemic to get it kick-started!

If everyone was 10% as smart as James Burke, earthlings would be exploring and living in other solar systems by now.

Um, you can't change the laws of physics. We know that. That's why we won't be traveling to other solar systems. It's like you watched this whole thing and got nothing out of it.

@@peterolbrisch8970 uh, dude, read the title of this series again, this time for comprehension. Burke also made the point that thinking the earth was the center of the universe was consistent with observation . . . I for one don't believe current human understanding of physics is the last word for all eternity - that seems awfully hubristic

Excellent resource for Thinking Fast and Slow. It's (still,Absolute Zero-infinity) always NOW, following functional condensation-coordination of logarithmic = epicycles here-now-forever Eternity-now Interval, all-ways all-at-once relative-timing reciprocation-recirculation evolution-condensation of WYSIWYG. Some details you may have to discover with the insatiable curiosity curriculum mentioned by James.

No you should post them on your site. I am still trying to find these other parts(2 thru 10) from late 80's early 90's. I have Connections #1 recorded form TV early 90's that I will upload soon. Have another program that's about climate change and the future. Thanks for watching! Am watching his newest Connections series right now on Amazon, check it out!

Well it's the way we live today 😂😂 And not that he isn't smart but seeing in to the future and understanding that is something that you and I whit the understanding we both have of the times we live in and what might come in the future But the way he says it ad the fact that practically no one had any idea of what to expect from microchips in the future Simply because the application of it was mostly talked about with regards to appliances not the internet and the rest of our fast-paced world as we know it today He and practically no one had any idea what was in store for us as we know it today But that's progress ain't it 😂😂 Just saying 🇳🇴
