Watching from Athens Greece , I am 73 years old and have been a billiards player since the early sixties . I have never seen anybody shoot better than Efren Reyes Bata - he is the greatest champion of all time by far !

Me enseñaron de chico a jugar al billar gracias a mi familia y amigos, y puntualmente mi papá, que aprendió a jugar billar francés antes que el billar pool igual que vos, estoy pasando una situación complicada en lo emocional, me siento deprimido y con pocas herramientas para hacer lo que me gusta debido a la falta de recursos económicos, una de esas cosas que me gusta y me hace muy feliz es el billar, hace poco tiempo te conocí y descubrí una nueva manera de entender y jugar al billar, cada vez que voy a jugar con un amigo o familia me siento uno con la mesa y fluyó jugando, aprendí a no enojarme y a jugar relajado, también riéndome de mis errores como haces vos, sos una fuente de inspiración y respeto para mi y para mi padre. Acá en mi ciudad Concordia no hay mucha cultura de billar, los pocos lugares donde se pude jugar tienen mesas de muy mala calidad y tacos pésimos, aparte de ser muy caros, quisiera perfeccionarme y seguir estudiando y practicándo, pero por falta de recursos económicos no puedo hacerlo, te quería preguntar Efren, en un caso así, que puedo hacer? I'm an old man now, in my day I was pretty good player, I broke and ran 5 rackes of 8 ball and 75 balls in 14-1 I qualified for the national 8 ball tournament in Louisville back 1976 But after watching you play, my whole way thinking has changed on the table I grew up, learning about pool from Ralph Greenleaf , Willie and Minnesota fats, ,you Sir are the King,, your knowledge of the game is mind boggling, may you and your family live a fruitful life full of Love Denny from Minnesota

Hi effern, My name is Robert Bussiere pronounced bisher, I am from Ontoagon MI USA. I played my first game of pool in 1962( I was 5 years old, my father stood me on a milk crate, put a pool cue in my hand and the cue ball on the table and told me to have fun. I played in pool league from 1973 until 2019. In 2013 just as a joke I had the bartender time me to see how fast I could run 15 balls off the table, to my surprise and everyone else I ran the table in 1 minute 12 seconds everybody in the bar bought me a drink chip! I had a free drink every day for almost 2 months. And yes I love to watch you play pool!

I saw Efren play many times in the world 8-ball tournament in LasVegas. He won alot more then $15,000 He is definitely the man. Of course everyone in the Philippines knows the incredible Efren Bata Reyes and they beam with incredible Filipino pride when you mention his name. He is truly a Filipino treasure that will never be forgotten. Thank you for all the great memories, Efren.

I am from Plattsburgh New York, and actually I used to play pool a lot when I was younger but then I took over 10 years off, the wife and I moved and I started playing pool again honestly hadn't ever really watched professional pool before but then I felt like I was almost starting over again even though I understood the English on a cue ball, so I decided to start watching a little bit of pool on RU-vid and for the first time discovered you the Magician.
