Today we try an immersive survival server called From Hell They Came. You spawn in a hospital in Namalsk with no shoes, and if you die you turn into a zombie. How long can we survive?

I still think this should be a thing in vanilla DayZ, if a player isn't killed via headshot they should become a Z with their gear and eveything, it might be some balancing things to work out, maybe some kind of risk-reward thing, maybe make the geared Z's harder to kill, or killing them makes more noise because of the gear, I don't know but it's a dope concept.

I think the Zs IN DayZ are more similiar to 28 days later, where they're still alive but basically with super rabies shit, but I watched it in a video so take it with a grain of salt.

@@nunull6427 yeah basically survivors are immune to the prion disease in dayz and the prion disease basically is super rapies + space aids

@@nunull6427 I know you posted this 4 months ago, but the zombies in 28 days later can infect survivors with just a drop of their own blood, zombies in DayZ don't do that (that is unless you're playing with a zombie-bite infection mod or whatever)

@@scoutgaming3966He was thirsty/hungry. So it will drain your health quicker. Also, blocking zombie attacks dont damage you directly but you do take shock damage which will make your health slowly go down as well.

@Ronnie Pickering The amount of arrows you have going up or down on your food, has nothing to do with time, or since the last time you ate. It's literally normal DayZ mechanics. You'll see directly after drinking, as he crouch sprints away, he has 3 arrows going down on both. It's literally just because he was sprinting. Then there's a time jump to a fire, where his food and water are significantly lower, then he goes out the door to another time jump where it is down in the yellow, which is very low. Between the time jumps, and the fact they were sprinting everywhere, it looks pretty normal.

The reason they lost food and water so fast was because they sprinted everywhere, fought every zombie in their path and didn’t have a heat buff

@@dannydoomno1Nope, food and water is scarce. Only well in the game is at the Vorkuta school. All other water wells have been taken out. Running will actually drain your food and water super quick on this server. Running is not recommended.

Such a good idea but seeing how tuff everything is it be nice to see this done on a normal setting of cherno. The searching for loot mods great so it can limit loot lag. The human turned zombie is fing excellent. But the stat bar could be more forgiving being that there is so much more life in everything else .

Welcome to FHTC fellas! Its so nice to see yall give FHTC a go. It's a rough server to learn,. It has its own learning curve, but its very well designed and worth trying. @@phixion7682 metabolism is modded, it drains fast if you sprint for too long, being cold also drains food and water faster. You've to be conscious about managing your character status relative to vanilla.

@@phixion7682 We created our own hardcore calorie mod that is taxing if a player is constantly sprinting, Crouch running, jumping over walls, fighting large groups of zombies, etc. It was designed to slow players down and have them think of every decision they make. Player starts with enough water and food but after that, you're on your own. How they decide to spend those calories is on them. Sounds tough but creates a new feel to your survival 🤘

FHTC is far better than any other server I have ever played. There is so much immersion and depth to it, and being brutally hard, makes the gameplay so rewarding.

It only drops that quick if you’re exhausting your calories too quickly like sprinting, crouch running, heavy hits. Once you control your calories it’s a very nice hardcore survival balance 🤘
