That was absolutely epic. To this day I tell everyone Mojo Nixon's show was one of the best and most entertaining concerts I've ever gone to. He blew me away :-)
Well, I'm 60y.y. only really just found DM. They were and are great! But I've always loved post modern punk. I love the way in all the songs it does not bother him to get a 3 x sylibal word in one beat, even 6 words! The bass & the were always very clever very intricate. When the singer plays lead breaks he's so classic punk the timing fells like He plays HIS notes in his own TIME. Very 'Romones-ish' from CBGB days. I've heard singers say its very humbling for a crowd to sing the chorus with 'em. But everyone was the WHOLE song & probably heaps more. AMAZING!
