I always wanted to know . I sort of thought is must have been some kind of punk rock hangout . I imagined an outdoor hangout of some kind, don’t know why.
After I saw your shirt, I look through your entire timeline to see if you did something on them. I'm friends with Joe and I'm sending him a link to this video. He's super kind and sweet and I know he'll appreciate it.
I had the Punk Rock Girl single cassette in 89/90, it was a pink cardboard cassette cover with a punk rock Mohawk girl on the cover. I played that single a ton
Not sure why my previous comment got eaten and didn't post but I'm friends with Joe and I sent him a link to your video. He's probably one of the sweetest guys I've run across in a long time. And I know he'll appreciate you.
Love them. I wore that shirt out as well. They played my home down about once a year in high school. One show someone stole the singers hat. Show ended 15 minutes in. Good stuff.
I first heard of these guys when some friends and I went record shopping back in the mid eighties. One guy saw Eat Your Paisley and loved the cover so much he bought it, but then gave me the actual album, which I didn't like at first, but upon repeated listenings it eventually grew on me. One of my friends in college had a button maker and we pressed some with the band's logo. What fun!
I did not realize it had such a tough intro, not a musician or guitar player but I am an appreciator of the finer things. This is in my opinion one of those songs (and groups) one should appreciate. Love this song!
I didn't know it was a tough intro either 😂 I remember this song when I was a teen and liked that it sounded rough. Timing is a bit off on some spots and out of tune. I realized they were actually talented musicians
Absolutely love this song. Just messed up my long-haired cat’s hair… she has great hair for a mohawk. Thought about this song… had to come play it for her. Yes I’m dedicating a song to my cat. Deal with it. Anyway I came across your short. you did well!
guitarist last name is pronounced 'Gin nair O' , as in diehard's X wife in first movie. I only watch you because of that shirt. Ima Blood brother. and I still wear holy old shirts. I still wear "Smells Like a Cow 88" tour shirt. Love say " this shirt is older than u" Thanks for descaling that shirt
I saw the DM in Berkeley CA at the Berkeley Square in 1989. Super small place and they were phenomenal. One of my favorite rock shows ever and I have seen a lot of rock shows big and small.
I love the Dead Milkmen! My now ex-husband is who introduced me to them when we were dating. I’m getting ready to buy their latest album they put out in 2023 from iTunes. As much as I hate to do it, I’m going to reach out to my ex-husband and tell him about Quaker City Quiet Pills
