There are several reasons as to why polar bears should be nr. 1 by a solid margin. 1. They are the largest land carnivore on the planet. And as we all know, size really does matter in a fight. There is a reason why we divide mma fighters and other combat sport fighters into weight classes. 2. They are obligate carnivores. 3. Polar bears’ menu is larger than the other bears. Imagine dragging tons worth of food on land and sometimes through water, making them strong as hell. 4. There is a reason why professors’ saying is “if it’s black fight back, if it’s brown lay down. If it’s white goodnight”

While I agree with your tiers the average weights you cited for some of the species such as the Grizzly and Polar bears are wildly over exaggerated both species averaging about 500 kg's for adult males.

Sloth bears and Moon bears hate people. Can't imagine WHY tho. Disgusting how some of these people treat innocent animals. Some of them also treat innocent PEOPLE that way. Shameful. Cruelty is NEVER A NECESSARY OPTION. Thank you for the vid🙏🏼💔🖤🩶🤎🤍🐻🐻‍❄️🐼🐾

I’m gonna take a guess and say that the same Eurasian brown bear killed all three of the people in Romania.

Today’s bears are nothing compared to the awesome, prehistoric power of arctodus simus, AKA the short-faced bear.

Question. Which bear is best

I think sloth bears should have their own category called 'Pray that he kills you as quickly as he can', coz those who survived attacks of these bears wish they didn't.

@@user-kt6uw8jf9h I've seen one mangle a man for 8 mins by ripping his thighs, shredding the guy's left hand, gnawing off his face and finally tearing off his left pectoral muscles exposing his rib cage, lung and heart, that's when the poor guy passed on(probably). But the bastard wasn't done there, the bear kept slamming it's claws on the guy's chest for about 10 mins

Yeah sloth bears are extremely homicidal and bloodthirsty. As dangerous as the polar bear is, it's not as psychotically savage as the sloth bear.

Error #1: it has become increasingly thought that due to habitat loss and starvation, black bears can absolutely look at humans as a source of food. Especially, if they are desensitized to them first. Error #2 Yes, walk the other way…but don’t turn your back on the bear.

Additional Info: Those “tourists” are usually with a guide that carries a gun & has bear spray. The Kodiak bears observed are well fed by the river & the females like to bring the cubs near to tourists because it’s an added layer of protection from the male bears that will kill them.
