7 year old me who's favorite animal was a polar bear and who's always wanted to "meet one": 👁️👄👁️ i still like polar bears but I no longer want to meet one 👍
Oh no that's engaging in bear shaming, which means you can't do that to a black or brown bear....but of course to white bears you can say anything you want, right ?
Grizzly: Better not piss me off, if you don’t, your safe. Black Bear: Eh, your pretty much safe from me. Polar Bear: I don’t like you existing, so I diagnose you with dead.
I'm trying to get a new high score, my friend could never make it through the first level she is still stuck on the black bear level, I haven't heard from her ever since we started to play 😨😅
@@klevinlekaj5350 urgh, im stuck on the polar bear level, I asked my sister to play and she literally got torn to pieces by the black bear lol 🤣. You should try the game (btw if I don't respond it probably means I'm dead)
@@theoriginal668 in the wild, kodiak bears are almost as large as polar bears, but they are also more robust like grizzly bears, so if they would fight, kodiak would dominate, coz he is a bigger grizzly (and also his claws are MASSIVE)
If the bear makes noise to scare you, it's more likely a bluff and you should show that you aren't a threat (without running). If there bear makes no noise and seems interested in you, show that you're a threat because it's either assessing to see how ideal you are as prey or walking up on you to position itself (probably) for an attack from the rear with flanking motion. Bears that are smaller, injured, sick or very hungry are the most dangerous.
South America does have their own native bear species called the spectacled bear. It is only short face bear alive to this day (it's ancestors were much larger than the modern bears of today). This bear lives in the mountains of Peru and Columbia. Its appearance is a black bear with a pink nose and an X shaped tan brown face mask with the black eye masks similar to a raccoon or a panda. Unlike most bears, spectaled bears rarely attack humans and prefer to stay clear from them unless if it's provoked or it's cubs are in danger.
We had a bear walking through our campsite. It was a brown bear and when he was on all 4 paws he was bigger than my Mitsubishi lancer. But luckily he or she just kept walking. My friend and I were terrified because we had trout sitting out on our table.
@Wayne Wayne listen, I leave the food then get away from the bear. Once I'm far enough I run out of the forest. While I'm doing this she is eating the food.
forget all this stuff, if your hiking with your friends and you encounter a bear, just make sure when your running from it that your faster than your friends
Also, if you have a bookbag or any other type of bag on you with food, drop it and then slowly back away, the bear may just be interested in the food considering that their sense of smell is stronger than most other animals.
I heard a few hikers did graphene muscle tissue implants and it was effective. Graphene is 200 times stronger than steel so when infused with organs and muscle, you’re resistant to most physical attacks Then of course there’s Carbyne LAC which is 400 times stronger than steel, but it’s not in production yet. We’ve only made a few molecules in a lab. 😅 In all seriousness, these are real materials that have insane potential, and I could see them one day be used for body armor or even muscle tissue/organ/bone infusion If a human were to have these sorts of implants, well let’s just say they would be something from science fiction, their skin literally deflecting missiles, artillery and bullets Like a superhuman
I have only encountered black bears, and even if they see you I have found they are generally not a threat. As long as you know you are coming, black bears won't attack as far as I have encountered they would prefer to stay away. Oh and also remember to use a bear cache or bear hang, and sleep away from it.
When the Europeans first started communicating with the natives in the West they were told "don't even try fighting grizzlies, bullets just make them angrier" and imagining something even bigger that WANTS to eat you is horrifying
I’d never lay down and play dead, I’d shout make lots of noise. Also never walk alone in the woods where bears might be. At least have a dog with you, the bigger the better. A long strong stick with a sharpe edge on it in case the bear does attack. You can harden the edge in fire to make it stronger. Never turn your back on them, face them and slowly back off.
What school teaches you: long division, frog dissection, mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell, the periodic table, types of rocks, the Pythagorean theorem, how to figure out if a number is prime etc. What school should teach you:
What’s crazy is things like math and science like you learned in school could be key to surviving bear attacks Think of it this way, without many genius intellectuals, materials like graphene and Carbyne LAC wouldn’t be possible Imagine a future where freaking graphene (a material 200 times stronger than steel) Is infused with human muscle tissue or used as body armor. Or Carbyne LAC, which is a bit harder to make, but it’s twice as strong as graphene and can be infused with human bone tissue Forget bears or tigers, these materials could easily resist a missile or straight up artillery. TLDR; they’re stupidly strong, like science fiction strong And this isn’t very far away. Graphene is starting to be mass produced, and things like neuralink implants have seen successful trials
I think climbing a tree is a must if you are in trouble. This is how the primates survived. Also you have a better advantage from above. Chop off a branch and you can poke the eyes , nose etc of a bear that is trying to climb up to you. It might not want you after a few good pokes to its eyes or nose.
That’s not how life works lol. Black bears climb trees so fast, they’d have you on the ground gnawing on you before you could even get a branch off the tree.
Tip: I encountered a black bear up in the mountains in North America, just about 3 weeks after watching this video - but when it really do happen you probably ain’t gonna (and shouldn’t) fight against in the beginning, even when it’s doing things that seems like a direct attack. (Obviously: is it attacking = do something, all I mean is that you shall not fight against it as soon as you see it (not doing that, probably saved my life) : as he also says in the beginning, most bears will not attack you, but they will, if you seem like you are going to attack it) The bear I saw started running towards me, when it was 35/45 meters away - I couldn’t get myself to fight against it in that moment - So I kept walking. (Note: I walked in the same direction as I did before I saw the bear) - when it was 5 meters away it stopped, turned around and disappeared behind the bushes just in the side of the path. I couldn’t see it, which made it more creepy, but I walked a little more and still couldn’t see it ------ just wanted to share my experience.
To be honest, I have encountered a bear attack just a few weeks ago... It was a black indian female bear with a baby We were by car and realized her quite late so she got real pissed off and attacked our car She roared out loud and came running toward us and pushed it back she did that thrice But then she had to leave cause her baby was scared and we were backing our car🤐
A person should watch " The revenant " starring Leonardo Di Caprio if one is doubtful what harm a bear attack can do . Because before watching that movie even I was skeptical about it . They all looked so cute and cuddly in many youtube videos. But after watching the movie reality dawned on me and I was horrified . Edit: Caprio autocorrected itself to Caption
doesnt matter how many times you watch these video because when it happens for the first time fear will literally kick in fortunatly the bear i encountered like 5 years ago was a black bear and he was more afraid of me lol but still a scary encounter i ran like crazy turn looked over my shoulder it was doin the same thing runnin away lol
Against a polar bear, without bear spray you stand zero chance, zero. No point in “fighting back” they will knock you out with one swipe. Just hope it’s over quickly
@@giannaphipps1107 ikr But still Like I am studying how British came to India in 1800s but that won't even come in my use because I want to go in the army but there is no subject related to it
I Remembered One Tip from a Polar Bear Attack, Researchers say If You're Armed with One Shot, the Best Place to Aim is Right Between your Own Eyes (You thought I was gonna say Shoot the Bear? No)
One time I went hiking and got lost in the fortress for 2 days. Encountered a Grizzly and I almost passed out. Good thing is 2023, I found out that bear actually identify himself as a horse. He ended up giving me a ride home instead!
Surviving a bear attack tools -- .40 , .45, .44 magnum, AR10 or AR15, bowie knife with serated edge, last resort -- bear spray, sadly so many go into bear territory with only a prayer and a wish
I like to do lots of research whenever I go somewhere so that I can make the most of my time there. Most importantly to ensure I don't potentially encounter one of these bears. If your in your vehicle & watching one from a distance that's great.
0:58 this made me face palm so hard lol. Native Americans thought bears were these forces of nature, and the strongest warrior on earth couldn’t kill them. They had a code for bears, and it’s that guns only make them angrier, getting closer for melle attacks gets you killed more painfully, and running only makes it faster. Some every day josh couldn’t slay one like this lol. Don’t even get me started on how people thought of polar bears
