I see people mad that this isnt Perfect Cell, but Perfect Cell wouldn’t work for what this movie was doing. Cell Max is a raging Kaiju, he’s a Monster designed in the Image of how strong Cell was, not Cell in his cunning, charming ways.
It should've been. End of. BUT yes cool design with decent power although not too fearful compared to broly or cumba, plus the fight scenes lacked skill or war it was quick and cheap.
Which is inherently shallow imo. Because if they wanted to go with “raging Kaiju” there was literally a list of DB villains they could have dusted off and built around for that or just create a new one. Cell has never been known for being some big mindless brute. Part of his calling card is his intelligence. Idk it just seemed really lazy to me.
@@Thezahza Which is also a complete rejection of the Cell character to the point of why does it even have to be Cell. It could’ve been anyone given the circumstances. It’s not unique to take a unique character like Cell and then Bio Broly him by making him a literal, big brute power level on two legs with zero personality or purpose. It’s lazy, it’s easy. A lot of the movie was “believe it because we tell you to”. Cheap thrills.
For me personally, a REALLY good ost in an action anime is one that I notice and sticks out to me on the first watch. Because on the first watch, at least for me, I’m paying way more attention to what’s happening on screen and what’s being said by characters. So when I heard the part at 1:04 as he is rising up from the chasm, I was getting goosebumps
I love how similar this soundtrack is to Mechagodzilla's theme (which called "Hong Kong" in GvK soundtrack album). They all begin with the build-up at the beginning, and then the drum at 1:04 kicks in when the monster is released
Cell Max was a good villian to me. And this theme fits. Also I honestly I think that they should make a fan cut of this movie so that all of our ideas combined are in this movie. So there would be an original and a fan cut. But I highly doubt they will do that.
He…doesn’t. The color design was to imply that the RED Ribbon army made Cell Max. They wanted to make a better version of Cell, so they wanted the credit for it.

The movie is perfect, i was mad at the beginning but now im happy asf with it. The only thing im mad about is the first Punch of orange piccolo. Should have been more amazing but its okay cause Gamma 2 is a friendly Char
i havent seen max but cell perfect was literally perfect he had 140 iq or more he had every main characters powers literally strongest and if he had kaioken (any of them) he could even defeat majin buu literally looked cool and perfect song
Basically 2nd form cell powered up. What happened to 18 cause 17 returns in super. 1st form would've made more sense but powered up like this. Much prefer super perfect cell (full power) that has a new transformation into "perfect cell max" (complete power), then before he loses enters a "rage / beserk mode" like this. Absolute trash to the old fans of DBZ, the original, lacks real storyline and pathetic fight scenes competed to the cell games, wich a part 2 new cell games after the tournament of power clearly makes sense 🙄😂
you clearly didnt understand the movie in general. Cell Max is not Perfect Cell and he was created with the data before geros lab got destroyed. Exactly when got it destroyed? right before Cell got his 2nd form. The where always the drones that worked for the red ribbon army or worked for the red pharma. with all that data and the recordings of the fights from our z fighters. In only a few month Hedo managed to create a Cell without additional Cyborgss to get absorbed. Cell Max was not complete in the end. It was a great and deep story just like the cell arc and they managed it to pull everyything together just fine. Sorry but you need to grow up its a dragonball super movie, not a non canon dbz movie who doesnt add nothing to the stroyline.
