Well. Beerus just did something amazing. He's proven to be more powerful than we originally thought. I don't think Goku could have finished him in one blow like that at all. It was insanely awesome.
I think really it's because people didn't actually expect the creators of this show to go forward with "God characters" literally being that. God characters. They shouldn't be beaten, and when they fight it's for sport.
I just like that it's all going back to its roots to an extent. The show was a martial arts show following a kid who was inspired by the Journey to the West's tale of Sun Wukong the monkey king. In Z it turned Sci-Fi, and kept the martial arts up. In S, it's toned down the sci-fi, but so far as refocused on the original idea: A martial arts show about Sun Wukong, the monkey king who by the end of his journey, had 72 transformations. I want the whole "Black Goku" arc to end and the Omni-Tournament to start. Tournaments have always been the best part about the show, and this tournament would be the ultimate one aside from a 'multiverse' tournament.
This theme is really unique, mixed with egyptian type music backround and the beat is just terrifying know that a happy yet playful being can destroy a planet with just a single finger point.

"Egyptian" Well I mean, when I first saw Beerus I thought, Dragon Ball was adding in their own Anubis so, I'd believe that but, after enough content I'd argue that Beerus would probably wipe the floor with any iteration of Anubis~
One badass Beerus scene and everyone loses their shit. This is why Beerus is one of the greatest DBS characters, and the fated rematch between him and Goku will be one of the most incredible fights in the series.
This guy might be the most original character of the DB series. He's neither a hero nor a villain. He is above that. He is a fundamental force of the universe, a judge. And that's what makes him terrifying.
Love this one. The energetic beats to match the show, the throat singing to express his "ancient-ness", the opera to show his grandiosity, and my personal fav, the sounds that almost sound like frantic gasps/screams being cut short. Perfect for a mad destroyer god.
My only objection is to the "mad" part. Despite the name of the theme, Beerus has never shown any sign of "madness", really. He's just doing what he is supposed to do as a destroyer god.
@@fabiana7157 I see what you mean, but I dunno. destroying half a planet just because a dish was oversalted, is rather "mad" by my own mortal standards. even king Kai states he is a being that lacks reason. I guess I always figured he was meant to destroy major threats to the universe and old/dying planets/solar systems, not random ones willy nilly based on the calibur of their native cuisine. xD
@@purplesugar5265 I personally see that as his disregard for life in general, he is not the best god of destruction that's for sure. He sleeps too much and destroys planets on a whim. I don't see it as madness because remember, to a god meant to destroy, mortals' lives are pretty much worthless, like the lives of ants are to most humans

It's actually crazy to think that all the characters we've come to love, including those like Videl, Bulma, Puar (and any other underrated characters) could have all just come to a full stop because of this ONE character. Beerus could have single-handedly wiped out our entire childhood and that's a freaky thought
And all of dragon ball would've ended with a single hakai. This music really reflects why you shouldn't piss beerus off, and how we are extremely lucky that beerus didn't want to destroy the earth and everyone with it (including goku and his friends)

this theme fits beerus. despite being almost like an uncle to the Z warriors right now he is still the terrifying destroyer who made even prince vegeta feel scared

Lol beerus could not kill goku instantly with that attack. He already used that technique in his fight against goku. Goku did get hurt but not instantly killed like zamasu because goku is several times stronger compared to zamasu and closer strength to beerus

It sucks because Beerus is honestly a badass character. I like him as much if not more than the DBZ main villains, but Super doesn't do a good job of making him seem badass. If he showed up in Z the situation would be like how this music sounds, dire.

tidusmi2 technically, Goku SSJB Kaioken x10 would be much stronger than Beerus. For example, Toriyama stated that Goku in super Saipan god would be a 6, and beerus would be a 10. So according to this, Goku SSJB kaioken x10 would me much stronger. The only thing that complicates this is Beerus's destroy move.
Considering Whis asked beerus if hes afraid when goku used the technique he said no. Even though we know it was kinda a lie from his side its safe to assume that ssjb kaioken x10 comes close to his power level but not the same level (perhaps 80% in a real fight where they both go full out straight from the start). And the regular SSJ cant be taken into consideration as the KI used by SSJ is different then the ki used by SSJB. The ki used by God/SSJB is the reason why he can fight with beerus in the first place and dominates those without god ki (Hit was capable of damaging goku because well, strength still applies to some extent even without god ki, especially if you hit vital body points, and the fact that he could timeskip which he heavily improved over the fight. Without it he would have been shred into pieces by goku). TL;DR: Comparing SSJ and SSJB is not going to work as the used KI is different.
Kretias To add to the HIt reasoning - it seems Hit can sense God Ki as well (not sure if that means he has a form of God Ki that he uses for assassinations or what). God Ki in general dominates normal Ki which is why you only feel its pressure (if you can sense Ki) and not feel its power (God Ki sense). As for SSJBB with Kaioken - Goku would give Beerus a run for his money however Beerus would still dominate in the end. I do like yr reasoning of around 80% against Goku in a fight - using Kaioken.

When you think about the true nature of "hakai".... They tone beerus down a bit as goku, vegeta, gohan, & frieza all begin to reach new levels of power, yet still.... Everytime this music plays, this funny obnoxious god suddenly becomes EXTREMELY ominous. Hero, villain....you kinda come to pity who's on the recieving end of this guys powers of destruction. He only answers to multiversal and omniversal beings, like angels, the grand priest, and zeno himself. And at present, omnipotence is pretty much the highest tier in.....well, pretty much any kind of spectrum. This dude's not given enough appreciation sometimes
Rusian nah youre just drawing a comparison to justify a challenge between the new Ultra Instinct form. This move means Death and you have to be a strong as the caster to escape its death. Its not about dodging. As we saw, Goku couldnt even escape that little one so Ultra Instinct wont change. Beerus could easily erase him.

This is not a heroic theme. It's dangerous, foreboding, almost demonic. Beerus is not a hero, he just happens to have unpopular enemies. Honestly, I wouldn't get too attached to him in his role as a protagonist. That scene seemed to be to remind us how easily he can flip.

I think people sometimes forget who, and what beerus is. He’s not a “good guy”. He’s not a villain. To describe him would be to describe a tornado, or an eruption. He is not just another hero, or another villain. He is a force of nature. Beerus has never exerted himself fully, not that we’ve seen. He’s a god with power we may never fully see. And that means something. And I think that the characters, and by extent us, have gotten too comfortable around him. He’s not a good, or moral person. He’s less of a fighter, more an ancient, eldritch death god. He’s the god of destruction, and he could do anything he wants, the only ones able to stop him are angels who can’t interfere, and Zeno, who doesn’t care. If he wants something, he will get it. If he wants to kill someone, they will die. And there is nothing anyone can do to stop him.
