Medical experts say it take about three months to get over shift work and your body will be so happy. I worked shifts with nights for just over 20 yrs and when I stopped , boy was it better. Ask Oaktree to think of a access to garage for safe dog travel when owners are not in van etc. I'm doing my own conversion in my Hymer that makes the garage also a dig room etc for many reasons. Garage becomes not just storage but a room extension for safe pet travel.

may be instead of storing in the side cupboard put the items in to really useful boxes and make it easier to get things out and then less items to take out if need the space

Travelwithbilbo, both Ian and I are now retired and hope to get a lot of travelling in before we get to old. Back in the day all this tec wasn’t available so travel was limited, if my time was now I would definitely be on the road, good on you for taking the plunge and enjoying life and doing what you love. ❤ happy travels.
Congratulations! So happy for you. Here’s an idea, what would you say would be a good campervan for my plus size OH, me and 3 dogs that isn’t going to be a problem to park and a bed that can be left fixed sometimes. On board toilet is a must. ( Not a Pop Top). The best I come up with is a Wildax Aurora. Bed for us, sofa for the lurcher , floor for other 2. No pinch points. Thanks. Wishing you all the best.
@@Mevi Yes, we have a Pulsar at the moment, but the sleeping arrangement for us with the dogs isn’t ideal, so we use it as a day van - which is great, but…… personally, I would love to be able to overnight in it.
@@irenedale5256 the Pulsar is great. I first saw that at the Manchester Motorhome show 2020, just before lockdown. I spent a lot of time on their stand. Impressed.

I'd love to see an "urban" test with a Bailey Autograph - french bed or island bed. That's what I'd consider most suitable for me doing full time vanlife .......but I'd be concerned with the extra width and the ground clearance on the Bailey, and is it winterised enough for full time use in this country 🤔
Found your channel a few weeks ago (no idea why) but been enjoying your videos and was looking forward to this video all week but to be honest I’m a bit disappointed, was thinking your be showing more of your new home and so on, waited a week for this? Well, after having stumbled across your channel while contemplating my near future, here's your starter for ten... Single guy. Close to retirement. No home to call my own. Born under a wandering star. Travelwriter. Would be nice to have a roof over my head between backpacking and volunteering work. I am 6ft tall though, so finding the right motorhome/campervan that works for me has been a challenge. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to showcase something that might work for me :)

I’m quite new to your channel. I just love your enthusiasm. I was going to do the van life/camper van living about 12 years ago. Unfortunately my camper van was stolen. Six months later I became very unwell so maybe it was a good thing the camper was stolen. Things have got a lot worse. My life expectancy is about another 4 to 5 years. Your channel and the things you do give me a window to the outside and watch someone living the dream. Good luck with the new motorhome ❤
Well done Mate.Only problem I can see is that having a tag-axle makes the motorhome a Class 4 vehicle on french and some other european toll roads, ie same as an artic truck.
Con-grates on getting the MH. Ambassador to a company is to represent a company. I hope the relationship works out. You were already a Fulltimer living in a motorhome with the addition of a Job, so there for you had a responsibility to be somewhere using your motorhome as transport to then go do your job. It will be interesting to see how your new relationship impacts on decisions you want to now make regarding a non commitment to your old work life. Is it the case that you have simply changed jobs living in a motorhome. My wife and I packed up working in 2015 and went full time in our MH travelling extensively in mainland Europe. Pandemic forced us back into the UK but now back on the road turning left or right where the road takes us giving us total freedom as to what we do or where we go. This new chapter will bring new challenges but we hope the relationship commitments do not get in the way of any old intended goals and dreams that having a commitment to work could not be advanced. Looking forward to seeing what you get upto.

ive a question for you Daz on the previous motorhome you fitted the diesel heater to save on LPG how did you over come the flaw with the chinese diesel heaters when you get upto the disired temp and it drops down to the lowest setting the temp still keeps rising as the chinese heater does not switch off it keeps throwing heat out did you fit the after burner temp controller mate
